The place is great, better than the photos actually! It has everything you’ll ever need, such as pots, cooking utensils, and cleaning supplies, and everything is very clean. However, one little con is that the internet is a bit unstable, no matter if we’re using cellular service or the purchased wifi.

Best Airbnb ... EVER. Before we even got there, Doug was so kind. We got a flat tire about 20 miles out and he came out with his wife at 11pm to help us put on the spare. Then when we arrived, we found a card, chocolates, flowers and sparkling cider waiting for us! The house was super nice and spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was great! It's in a beautiful area and not too far from Yosemite. Would highly recommend staying here !!

We had an amazing stay in this lovely home. The entire home was spotless, the running water was warm, and the property was peaceful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away.

Another great stay at Stew's place. I highly recommend. It is off a busy highway, but you wouldn't know it because it is secluded down below the businesses and is very private and quiet. Everything was very clean and lots to do with movies and games for the kids. The hot tub was so nice. It was very cool in the morning so that is a great way to warm up under the canopy of pine trees that surround the back deck. Definitely will be back for another stay.

We loved staying at Monique’s place! It was perfect for a big family gathering to celebrate a few of our birthdays. The kids loved the games, the home was super clean, and the neighborhood felt safe! The instructions were well explained and Monique had great communication with us for any questions we had. Our family really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

This cabin was everything we could have hoped for! Huge hot tub on a wraparound deck that had a fence so our dog could be outside but not free on the property. Wood burning furnace inside was a favorite feature for my husband and I. Our dog loved laying in front of the fire. 10/10 would recommend 🙂

It was a great place to stay for our vacation trip to Yosemite. The house is nice and cozy, clean when we got there. Great area too, right next to a Starbucks and other local restaurants. The only problem we had was with the hot tub not warming up to the right temperature but got an immediate response back from the owners and fixed the problem quick. Would recommend to other guest

We loved our stay and Nick was a responsive and kind host. Was a short trip but we felt very cozy. The home is beautiful and you are close to lots of amazing outdoor experiences. Has all the appliances and tools you might need to make dinner! And extremely reasonable and understandable check out instructions.

The house is great! It’s quiet and spacious. It’s about an hour and some minutes away from the arch rock entrance to Yosemite but it’s a nice drive. Don’t expect signal or wifi while you drive. The house is big and can fit about 4-6 people maybe more if people are bunking together. The kitchen is huge! I love the history of the house it used to be restaurant so I guess that’s why the kitchen is huge. The beds are warm and comfortable, those space heaters are magicians because they work so well!! Only issue was the dishwasher, which we never used, but Nicole was responsive even though it was Christmas Day (thank you again Nicole!) Overall cute house near Yosemite it’s rustic and has all the amenities. Would happily stay here again!

Really nice location with river access and fishable pools (although we got skunked on a difficult winter attempt). Home is a little dated, but adequate for our stay. One of the upstairs room is not completely enclosed, but has an opening to view/hear the living room area. The windows make for a stunning view. Overall the house kept us warm and allowed us to explore the Strawberry/Pinecrest area. We were lucky to have a dusting for snow during our stay. Parking is located street side and there is no private driveway to park your car. Location was really nice for us to access the snow play parts and Dodge Ridge. There is also a nice OHV type of trail at the end of the street if you are interested in a leisure hike.

A great location for exploring the gold rush area, Highways 49, 108 and 4. Easy access, great for our dog, and a cozy place to spend the night

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It’s rustic and charming. We were happy not to have any snow, but we were able to easily travel up to Bear Valley for skiing and sledding. There are lots of nearby amenities and just a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The cabin was very warm and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed watching the DVDs and playing with the games. The beds are also super comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

This sweet cottage was more magical than we even expected! We were surprised by all of the thoughtful touches, the decor, excellent cooking utensils, coffee, snacks, and so much more. It felt like we were staying in a secret tree house and the patio created the most calming space for outdoor meals and relaxing. The location was quiet, very convenient and just the right size for two. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this space again!

Bev and Rod were such wonderful hosts. The "shed" as they call it, is exactly as described. Extremely clean, very calm and peaceful, the perfect temperature, and restful bed. With the mini kitchen I was able to warm up leftovers and keep my water cold. Also Bev and Rod are such gracious hosts. I felt as though I was visiting my grandparents house. They were quick to give recommendations and feedback on the places I planned to visit with my dog. Their warmth was genuine and the shed was a quiet place for me to reflect and read. It had everything I needed included clean shower, bathroom, bed, and room. Perfect place for a couple or a lone traveler (+ small dog) like I was this trip. If you're planning on doing some hiking in the area or have Big Trees on your national park list, then don't pass up on this amazing spot. 100% worth the cost and so much more. If I plan to visit the area again, this will be my first choice on places to stay.

This is a very quiet and peaceful spot with a nice outdoor seating area. Very roomy apartment space. Very reasonably priced for what you get. I would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through the western Sierra's.

This was our second stay at the cozy cabin and we enjoyed it even more than the first time. Our only regret is that the visit was a short one. We felt right at home and Linda is so responsive. We will definitely stay again when we get the fishing bug or just need a little rest and relaxation!

Jeff and Gina were great hosts. Responsive and friendly. Close to Yosemite. The kids loved the game room, beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you’d need.

We had a great stay at Connie’s cabin. Our trip was two couples, each with a toddler. The space was very well set up to allow us to put each kid down and still have board game nights after they were asleep. The cabin had a very lived in and homey vibe - which is what we were looking for! You could definitely tell the family has gotten lots of great use out of the house over the years!

The geodome is a unique stay. The cabin was comfortable and and well-styled. An added bonus is that there's plastic kid-friendly bowls, plates, and cups so we didn't need to worry about our young ones breaking anything. The open layout was ideal for our family to socialize while cooking and there's a cute play area upstairs with toys for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to soak in the stars a night next to the fire pit. Maria was super responsive to all of my messages (responded in a few minutes), which was helpful when I couldn't turn on the washer/dryer since the breaker had tripped. Maria helped me locate the electric panel to flip the breaker and there wasn't any further nuisance tripping. We enjoyed staying at Maria and Jared's geodome and would come back again!

Beautiful cabin in Arnold! Super cozy and every amenity you could need. My kids did not want to leave.

One-of-a-kind home (two of a kind, I guess, if you count the CO version) made an unforgettable experience for our family (5 adults, 3 kids and 2 pups)!! Thoughtful consideration seeped in every nook and cranny! 1) brilliant open layout strikes perfect balance between having a corner/plenty of room for everyone, yet still with a lovely sense of togetherness; 2) exceptionally well-equipped and spacious kitchen; 3) play closet with enough toys and board games to keep our 2yo toddler and pre-teen girls equally entertained; 4) winter gear to borrow -- sleds, snowshoes, etc. -- kids spent hours playing in the hill across the street (within sight from the cabin). In terms of virtually every amenity -- from quality kitchenware, comfy beds, toiletries, extra blankets, towels, spare friggin' batteries -- the Chesa Madrisa was a couple notches above what one should be able to reasonably expect from a vacation rental! Hillary was an absolute joy to communicate -- we can't wait to be back!

We enjoyed the stay at this property with 8 family members. Very nice clean and peaceful location. We will definitely consider coming back and stay here in next terip.

This cabin was amazing. My family and I had so much fun there. Unfortunately, there was no snow as we expected, but a 30-minute drive to Bear Valley was not bad to have fun. It ended up being a good thing since we didn't always have to deal with snow. I will come back!
