You cannot beat the location - absolutely gorgeous right on the water, private oasis! The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed. It was great to have kids stuff and a crib for my baby. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!

Just back from a fantastic week at this cottage by the ocean. What a perfect place to relax and unwind, so quiet and peaceful. Cozy, comfortable and welcoming - great to come back to after a day of exploring. The cottage is nicely furnished, very well equipped, has a Weber BBQ that we appreciated. Everything is in working order and wifi worked well. The view is amazing, we spent mornings and early evenings on the comfy porch. We saw great blue herons, sandpipers, ducks, loons and one morning while having coffee a pheasant ran across the yard. Access to the beach at low tide is nearby. Krista responded to our inquiries immediately. The caretaker Al gave us great information and suggestions for day trips. We highly recommend Krista's place and will likely return for some nice ocean air.

Nous avons séjourné plus d’un mois chez Lyndsay et honnêtement, nous aurions aimé y rester pour toujours! Nous avons eue un gros coup de coeur pour l’endroit, nous nous y sommes senti à la maison immédiatement. Le chalet est parfait et très bien équipé. Les lits sont confortables et il y a énormément de draps, couvertures, oreillers et serviettes. La vue est… indescriptible. C’est un nouveau spectacle à chaque heure qui passe avec les marrées, les vagues, le sable rouge et les incroyables levés de soleil. This place is certainly a little piece of paradise. Simona and Sorin's place is a real gem. The pictures don't do it justice. It's such a beautiful open space and was absolutely immaculately clean. The views were beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful. The house is very well appointed with everything you would need and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. The details in the house were very much appreciated, like really nice linens and a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub is also a bonus. We enjoyed sitting in there in the evening and soaking in all of the surroundings.

Beautiful cottage facing the lake. It was very comfortable for our group (four adults, six kids) with all the amenities we needed. Communication with Kent was easy. Would love to come back in the summer!

This cottage truly is paradise. It smells delightful. Like cedar and wood stove. The surroundings are very peaceful with nice walking paths and lots of wildlife (birds and squirrels mostly). The outhouse is clean with a quaint enamel hand-washing basin and soap. I have been 3 times now, on solo trips to take a breath. I plan to bring my family soon and to take the time to connect with nature and each other. What a delight! Anne is a great host.

We couldn't have been happier! Lyndy's lake house was beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and had lots of pantry items that we were able to use. The location is absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. Our kids played for hours by the water. Lyndy was very responsive and even left us some gluten-free cookies in the freezer when she found out that my daughter had Celiac Disease; something that had never been done for us before. It made my daughter so happy. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Bryan was an excellent host who went out of his way to ensure we had an overall excellent experience. This house is everything you see in the photos/ description and more. The kids absolutely loved the basement. This property is located in the prettiest area less than 20 minutes away from the town. We highly recommend it :)

As a family of four with kids age 9 and 4, it was perfect. Only 40 mins from Halifax, and yet you feel as though you are far from the city life. It was a very peaceful place :).
