The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Use of a large mature garden and a short walk to Lough Corrib. Freezer is available & storage for bicycles and fishing equipment. Free parking & dog friendly.

Park for free directly outside our front door, let yourself in with self check-in and you decide thereafter. Pubs, shops, places to eat, walking trails are all on your doorstep.

Burren Lodge

A truly special spot, this luxurious lodge is close to Ballyvaughan but tucked in the trees with a view of the turlough, red squirrels, and sparrow hawks. Cosset yourself with organic mattresses, spa-like bathrooms, smart TV’s, a diverse library, and a fully stocked chef’s kitchen with fabulous Lacanche French range. The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
