Welcome to a unique and historically rich home nestled in the heart of southern Crete. Set in the highest, most open part of the village, this villa was built with a fortress-style layout to protect against past raids. The lower level dates back centuries—a stone inscription, believed to be an Arabic prayer, was discovered here, offering a glimpse into the home’s fascinating past. Basking in the first light of sunrise, the property stands where tradition and tranquility meet.

Villa Bougainvillea is an old stone house that was build in early 19th century and was renovated recently. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

Villa Mojito in Kamilari - just enjoy !

Villa Mojito was built in 2020. It has stunning views of Mount Psiloritis, the Messara valley and the sea. The house offers everything you need to have a wonderful, relaxing holiday. There are several terraces and covered spaces, as well as a large sun terrace by the pool. In 2022 we added a large electrical pergola to provide extra shade. The house has excellent air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and warm in winter. We also have a pellet stove.
