This was an amazing place for us to stay as an extended family. There were nine of us, plus two dogs, and we rented the Doocot and the Lodge in the grounds. It is located right up in the hills and was blissfully remote yet easily accessible to the A90 to Perth and Dundee. The house itself was very comfortable and exactly as described. The sitting room was amazing with its enormously high ceilings, plenty of squishy sofas and a piano. There was also a Smart TV. For us, the best feature was the enormous dining table which easily seated us all and could have taken several other people too. We had lovely meals together all round the table. It was really memorable. The bathrooms were clean and new. The roll top bath was lovely and super to soak in. Check in, host communications etc were all super easy and they even helped us to have a hot tub ready for our arrival from Fife Hot Tub Hire. All in all, would highly recommend to people looking for a comfortable break away in the hills.

We had a great holiday in Alison’s. The house is comfortable. The situation, close to Eilean Donan Castle, is wonderful. It is a great location for hill walking and for exploring the Northwest Highlands and Skye. Alison was very friendly and helpful.

Pebble Cottage is perfect. Great location, everything is close at hand and it is extremely clean. It has a really comfortable bed too. Just what you need for a great nights sleep after a day at the beach. Would most definitely stay again!

Great stay at The Squirrels. No hassles checking in and place was very clean

Sandy’s place was located perfectly! It was a quick easy walk to the city center where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. It was also walkable to the bus tours. The place was clean well outfitted and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great base for us when doing a big bike ride in Inverness, only about 20 minutes walk from town but in a really quiet street and just a few minutes away from the canal, which is also really nice for a walk. It's all very clean, neat and tidy inside, really just like the pictures and everything works; one thing to be aware of is that the property has a hot water tank rather than a combi boiler, as we were used to, so if someone has a really long shower or bath, you might have to wait for the tank to heat back up again. What the pictures don't show are the wide open views across the city and countryside from the upstairs windows, which was a nice surprise. Communications from Darren were friendly, helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We would definitely stay again if back in the area.

I booked Cardon house for my friends Hen do! It was in such a lovely location, surrounded by woodland. There was lots of space outdoors and seating areas to sit outside. Indoors was lovely, ample space for larger parties to stay. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The lounge area was lovely, it was very spacious and had lots of seating. It was great for hosting the hen party games and being able to sit together. There was a lovely wood burner which unfortunately we did not get a chance to use but would be great for in the winter. The kitchen and dining area was open plan and spacious and there was a large table for all of us to sit. It’s about a 15/20 min drive by taxi, which we used to travel into Inverness. Taxi was able to find Cardon house promptly and easily. Caroline was responsive when I asked her questions regarding the stay and we got to meet her when we checked out. She was welcoming and asked about our stay. We did not want to leave. Very happy bride to be!

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Will definitely return. Thanks Heather.

Just perfect. Seemed a bit old at first but couldn’t be further from the truth. All new appliances and fully functional with some charm. Great location, easy parking, walkable to everywhere. Host was always on top of it even during the storm of the century. So thankful for her help. We will be back

This was a phenomenal stay in Inverness. Walkable to all downtown restaurants shops and Ness Island walking trails and parks. Shirt druves to Loch Ness and surrounding tourist attractions. The place was beautiful right down to the fixtures and finishing touches. The hosts went out of their way to help me with a travelling problem I encountered, which they really did not have to do. I am so appreciative and grateful for my stay here!

The house is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as described. It was perfect for us and our little dog. The house is spotless and all the furnishings are to a very high standard The garden is shared but perfect to enjoy. The house is less than 10 minutes walk to town so a perfect location to explore Inverness from. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to local shops, restaurants, and public transit, making it super convenient to explore the area. The space itself was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated, giving it a cozy and welcoming feel. We especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and fast Wi-Fi, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! The only issue we had was the temperature of the heating, it would get a bit cold in the morning.

Great house for a couple of days away

Un alojamiento hermoso en una zona bastante privilegiada, puedes caminar y tener contacto con la naturaleza de una manera excepcional. Los dueños siempre atentos a las necesidades, únicamente me aprecio extraño que hay instrucciones para todo, hasta justo antes de acostarte la cama tiene un letrero. Fuera de eso es un gran lugar para quedarte por un par de noches

This place is a gem! A stunning location with epic sunsets and gorgeous lights from Dundee. The amenities were just as pictured and the gardens a delightful bonus. We wish we were there for a longer stay. Anne and Gus sent great directions and suggestions for our stay. We hope to return for a longer stay! A great value.

What an incredible place to stay! From the moment you arrive and drive up the pristine driveway, you know you're in for a treat. The check-in process was seamless, and I immediately felt at home. This location is perfect for exploring Glencoe. We were also thrilled that Mairi was able to accommodate us for an extra night at another apartment, which maintained the same high-quality standards as our first stay. If you have the chance to book Skyfall, don’t hesitate—it's truly a wonderful experience!

Great spot

A cleverly designed apartment which makes good use of a small space with a fantastic view. The separate balcony area was also lovely for admiring the beach. The Crofters restaurant is also nice with lovely, friendly staff. We loved all the walks from the apartment - Rosemarkie is a beautiful place.

We had a lovely relaxing 3 night stay. It felt very homely in a quiet cul-de-sac. Close to all amenities and the beach and costal walk. Bed was extremely comfy and lovely soft towels. Sarah was a great host, very helpful and responsive to messages.

We were looking for a cosy getaway from the city and we knew it had to be Pitlochry. The Wee Glangarry was the perfect setting for our holiday, and Jenny and Steve were brilliant hosts. The location was perfect and less than 5 minutes walk away from the centre of town. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The wee studio was perfect for our stay and came equipped with everything we needed we really appreciated the loaf of Sourdough bread from the local bakery along with butter, orange juice and access to a coffee machine it made our breakfast extra special. The patio was perfect for watching the birds and enjoying a visit from a pair of Red Squirrels. We can't wait to come back to Pitlochry and we will definitely be visiting the Wee Glangarry again. 5 ***** all around!
