The Treehouse was a wonderful place to stay! It had all the amenities we needed. The location was beautiful, overlooking the park and the river. The hosts were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our group of grandparents (visiting from Canada), parents and 2 children aged 6 and 2 enjoyed our Easter weekend stay. The kitchen was well equipped for all our food prep; bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean; there were DVDs of cartoons that the adults all remember, as well as some movies. The adults enjoyed playing table tennis, and the sleepout was a good place to store bicycles. Proximity to the excellent playground, the beach and the estuary were big pluses. The enclosed yard was also helpful for keeping the children safe. And wine and chocolates were a pleasant welcoming gift. Thanks so much for sharing your attractive and comfortable bach.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was cosy, charming, and absolutely perfect, especially for such a special occasion. I got ready here with my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding, and it couldn’t have been a better space for it. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating to all our requests, which made everything so easy and stress-free. My husband and I especially loved the spa pool , it was such a relaxing and memorable experience. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

The clean architectural lines, serene colour palette, and beautifully curated interiors made the space feel both calming and luxurious. Every detail, from the layout to the lighting, felt deeply intentional and inviting. The three of us — close friends — had such a wonderful time here. Whether we were sharing meals, soaking in the spa under the stars, or simply unwinding in the serene indoor spaces, the home offered the perfect setting to reconnect, laugh, and rest. The surrounding trees, birdsong, and lush gardens made it feel like we were held by nature the entire time — utterly magical. Alice was a phenomenal host: warm, communicative, and thoughtful throughout. She’s created a space that’s more than just a place to stay — it’s a place to pause, exhale, and truly be. We left feeling restored and full of gratitude. Can't wait to return, thank you Alice.

Blackbird is a thoroughly comfy cosy nest for settling in and making the most of what Martinborough has to offer. Just a block back from the central square, handy to everything yet quiet. Plenty of comfortable space to relax both inside and out in the lovely private garden with various seating options. As chefs we appreciated a sizeable, very well appointed and supplied kitchen and dining area. With the bedroom, bathroom and common area set up it creates a flexible set up for two couples travelling together, a group of singles or a family. Very much a comfy home away from home. Cindy's whare was the perfect place to host a house of kaumātua. It was clean, pristine, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We were thankful for the neighbours too as they reminded us about rubbish/recycling day in and amongst a busy film festival schedule. A beautiful spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. So easy to check in and we could make ourselves comfortable right away. The place was beautifully set up and was so nice and cosy. It was private and homey. We especially loved the decor and the wide selection books available for reading. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a quiet and private stay if you are in the Wairarapa!

La Rocque Cottage in Martinborough is a lovely villa hosted by Megan, who was very friendly and responsive. The house itself was a good size for three adults and a puppy, plus it was clean, comfortable, and easy to heat on a chilly day. The propery is also fully fenced, which was great for our puppy. We had a lovely weekend away and recommend La Rocque Cottage for your next weekend away in Martinborough!

This place was fantastic – clean, well presented, and fully equipped with everything you need for a great social gathering. It had a welcoming vibe and made our stay super easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

absolutely stunning property everything you would imagine a homestead to be, it was really grand inside put also warm and very comfortable. we have two children so it was nice to relax and let them enjoy the space. pool was great we had some fun imagine the summer months to be even better. Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

Once again, this has to be one of the best places to stay in Masterton. Close to all the amenities and the house itself is very roomy and has everything you could want for a comfortable stay - even a swimming pool and barbecue. Highly Recommend.

We had a fantastic stay! The hot tub was ready and warm on arrival, which is a rare treat as it’s often an extra cost and slow to heat up elsewhere. The house was clean, tidy, and spacious, with hotel-quality linen and towels that made it feel more like a boutique stay than someone else’s home. The location is perfect. An easy walk to the town square with a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a playground for the kids. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing family getaway. Check-in was seamless and communication with Tania was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again!
