Ferienunterkünfte direkt am Strand in Matala

la maison est très jolie et confortable, il y a tout de proximité ( restaurant-bar... ecc ...) la hôte Niki très gentille et chaleureuse, une des meilleures expérience airbnb, sûrement à répéter.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Georgios. L'appartement est à deux pas de la plage, vous trouvez des restaurants et commerces dans la rue ou à 300m dans le village. Les chambres sont très spacieuses (plus grandes qu'il n'y paraît dans l'annonce). La terrasse est très agréable et le parking gratuit est juste a côté. Les serviettes de bain et de plage sont fournies. Nous avons trouvé que Kalyvès est bien situé pour visiter l'ouest de la Crète. Nous reviendrons !

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Vor allem in der Vorsaison ruhig. Grosser Aussenplatz für die eigene Nutzung und Kaffeetrinken direkt am Meer😊. Der Innenbereich grosszügig, so dass man sich auch bei kühleren Temperaturen drinnen wohl fühlen kann. Kommunikation super, schnell und sehr freundlich. Danke Nikos! Auch für das Willkommens - Geschenk (Früchte, Wasser und Olivenöl)

Wir waren im Herbst eine Woche mit unseren drei Kindern in Frangokastello. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen und haben sogar verschiedene regionale Lebensmittel geschenkt bekommen, darunter Feta, Gebäck und Zitrusfrüchte. Die Unterkunft selbst bietet alles was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Ofen und die Strandnähe. In der Nebensaison ist der Ort sehr, sehr ruhig, es gibt nur eine Hand voll Tavernen in der ganzen Gegend und ein paar Supermärkte, die geöffnet sind. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

The apartment is located very conveniently a close walk to the old town and bars and restaurants near the harbour. It has everything you need and is very comfortable, with 2 beautiful balconies almost giving you a 360 degree view over the city. Check in was very easy and communication with Tamar was timely and efficient. We had a great stay!

Well what can I say; we loved our stay in the villa. Pictures don’t do justice to the place. Ocean is literally your backyard and you can easily walk to many local places. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants privacy and wants to have. Private ocean. Would want to come back again to Giorgos place again

Holiday home from home. everything good. Vassilis very helpful with lots of good extras in room. Studio clean, bright airy, good WiFi with large kitchen area, Expresso coffee machine. Bathroom a tad small, but works. Sleep quiet with shutters closed, Beach 5 minutes walk. Bus stop to Heraklion and airport 3 minutes. Private parking space. Excellent séjour chez Manolis. L’appartement est très propre et nous pouvons tout visiter à pieds. Le toit terrasse est magnifique et la vue imprenable. Nous reviendrons.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, clean and has a fantastic location right on the beach. The surrounding area is perfect for sightseeing (close to Chania, Aptera) and hiking. The hosts were very easy to reach and very friendly - there were even some Greek delicacies to welcome us. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this place! Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. We are very satisfied with the villa and would love to come back next year. The villa has a private pool and a private entrance to the beach. However, water at the beach was dirty most of the time and wasn’t really comfortable to swim there with a baby, also because of the rock bottom, so we were driving to different public beaches. You must have a car, because due to the weather conditions it wasn’t possible to us to walk anywhere near.

We had a great stay at this beautiful property—it was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of five. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus, and we really enjoyed the pool and outdoor seating areas. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the views of the surrounding area were lovely. The location is peaceful and quiet, away from the noise of the city, but still just a short drive to several great beaches. The host, George, was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. He explained how to use the smart panel to turn on the boiler for hot water when he met us at the property, but we didn’t follow the instructions as closely as we should have the first morning, which caused the water to be cold. The boiler runs for 30 minutes at a time and seems to rely on solar heating, so hot water can be limited if multiple people shower back-to-back. Turning on the boiler in advance and spacing out showers made a big difference. Highly recommend this place!

Wir haben die Zeit in der Sea View White Villa sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ein Traum. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt, direkt am Strand. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es mehrere gute Restaurants. Die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool kann auf Wunsch etwas geheizt werden, sodass man auch schon früh in der Saison vollen Badespaß hat. Der Whirlpool lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit zwei Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern ideal für 3-4 Personen. Stravros war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab kleine Leckereien zur Begrüßung und wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Rundum ein toller Urlaub, Danke nochmals!

I loved my stay here, and only wish I had booked my stay for longer! The villa was truly high-end and every detail was thoughtful. They had everything you could possibly need and the host made sure you were comfortable and cared for. The outdoor balcony/pool was relaxing and special, with a beautiful view of the sea. It was also close to several delicious restaurants and within walking distance of downtown Rethymno. I want to come back and bring my friends for a longer stay! A special thank you to Marianna for making my check-in extra smooth!

La casa es un sueño. Vistas infinitas al mar, paz, intimidad… olvidarse del mundo es tan fácil… todos los detalles muy cuidados. Una delicia haber disfrutado de esta casa.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

We had a very nice stay at this place. The host and his caretaker was very helpful from the day we came to we left. The Strandvilla was very nice. What you se at the pictures is what you get. The house and the garden/pool area was very nice and clean. The house and the pool was cleaned several time during our stay. The kitchen has all you need to make dinner etc. We were 2 adults and 6 young peoples, the neighbor on the one side was familys whith small kids and the other neighbour was a group of adult ladies, so this villas fits for everyone. Close by (70 meters) you find a lokal taverna with very good food, very nice host and good service. The beach is 100 meter from the house and it is perfeckt for small children because of the calm sea. You can take the bus to Chania, it goes 4 times during the day, but i recommend to hire a car so you can experiens the whole island (different beaches, small villages and to get to the mini marked). Highly recommend! A quiet area, close to everything. We stayed here start of October with our 14 yr old and 3 month old son. The apartment looks like the photos, very clean andy tidy. Very comfortable bed, was huge 💛. We had asked for a cot, which was there. The pool was lovely, very refreshing, solar heated. We were the only ones using it, due to out of main season, an unexpected luxury. The beach is a mix of sand and stones, literally just outside the gate. Within 10 mins walk is a supermarket, pharmacies, a patisserie with huge pain au chocolates - highly recommend, they also had pastries (cheese and bacon, mushroom and ham etc). If you walk along the sea front for about 20mins get into Gournes which has several beach bars, and restaurants/ cafes, we went to Taverna ambrosia, very good even had a baby change area (not everywhere has these) and soft play at the back. It’s a 45 min walk to the Creta aquarium, definitely worth a see. Ioannis arranged several taxis for us.

L'adresse indiquée dans le profil airbnb de Georges ne nous a pas amené directement à son logement (mais il a du corriger cela très certainement). Cependant, au vu de notre désarroi avec un bébé, Georges a fait appel à son amie pour venir nous chercher à 21h le soir. Malgré cette péripétie, le logement est propre et agréable. Le cartier est familial et si vous avez l'occasion de rencontrer Georgette, elle vous accueillera avec son tendre sourire. Je recommande fortement.

Magnifique villa au bord de la mer. La maison est très bien équipée, nous n’avons manqué de rien. Les trois chambres sont très confortables et la literie excellente. La vue depuis la maison est exceptionnelle, il y a un accès direct à une très belle plage, sauvage, nous avons adoré ! J’ai hâte d’y revenir ! Georges a été très accueillant et toujours à l’écoute. il nous a donné de très bonnes adresses pour manger et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les attentions à notre arrivée. Il y avait du vin, de l’huile d’olive, des sodas… Merci infiniment, nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances 😊

Nous avons été totalement ravis du logement et de ses équipements. Chose que je n'avais pas réalisé et qui est un poil dérangeant sont les fêtes à la piscine d'à côté deux fois par semaine. A part cela, tout est parfait. Les hôtes sont charmants et les deux propriétaires sont au petit soin. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Thanos is een goede gastheer. Hij ontvangt zijn gasten netjes en is erg vriendelijk! De communicatie met Thanos is gemakkelijk en goed! Er worden duidelijke afspraken gemaakt. De locatie is perfect! Het appartement zit bijna aan het einde van de strip, wat maakt dat je in de nacht geen overlast hebt van de muziek. De loopafstand is prima! Het appartement bevind zich op de boulevard van Chersonissos.

Appartement très bien situé pour visiter la vieille ville et aller à la plage. Rue assez calme, et Spiros a toujours été réactif aux messages et donne des conseils de visite et de restaurants.

Merci à Aline pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. La cabane nous a beaucoup plu et son environnement est paisible. Nous avons aimé le calme absolu. Peut être parce que le restaurant à côté n était pas encore ouvert. Le lit est un peu dur mais on s y fait. Les enfants ont apprécié dormir en haut, comme une cabane dans une cabane. Un gros plus est la communication avec Aline. Rien à redire!!! Merci
