Loved Alma and Norma’s house very much. It’s my daughters’ dream house. Everything is just perfect. The decoration of the house is simple but with good taste, and everything is arranged in perfect order. Not too much, not too less. I felt relaxed and refreshed by live a house like this. The balcony is convenient to get a glimpse of the street. We love the orange tree in the courtyard, which adds a natural beauty to the house. Oranges sometimes fall to the stairs, and my daughter was always delighted to pick them up ( though tast sour but an interesting life experience😛). Alma and Norma are so nice to offer us rides to grocery and starship-launch (twice). I’m such a lucky person to meet so nice hosts. Every penny you spend on living here is worth it. Special thanks to Norma and her son Tony, thank you for taking me and my daughter to feed birds on the beutiful seashore. Norma is really an inspiring person, like sunshine pouring into my life, reminding me there is a happy part of life.

I fully recommend this place. It has all of your minimum necessities and is a great space.

Estuvo muy bien a media cuadra del consulado, tenia clima wifi, agua caliente , agua para tomar ,shampo ,papel,microondas y frigobag,sábanas limpias y toalla la verdad super bien no se le puede pedir nada más

Muy agradecida con Maricela, nos sentimos muy a gusto en su alojamiento, de todo tiene: en su cocina muy completa con yodo lo necesario como en casa, los blancos, la cama super cómoda, el baño con todo lo necesario body shower para manos y cuerpo, shampoo y acondicionador, al llegar siempre un olor riquísimo, su ubicación super cerca de todo. Sin duda alguna nuevamente nos quedaríamos con ella, muy agradecida

I’ve stayed at many an Airbnb - Robert was a great host - Quick to answer questions or problem solve and ever gracious. It was close to downtown restaurants, parks, SpaceX, SPI. There were quite a few of the homeless in the neighborhood, but they were harmless and there was a good police presence in the area. Next time I’m in Brownsville, I’ll be sure to check in with Robert first.

I came down to Brownsville for the purpose of doing IVF in Matamortos. The location was perfect as I had to do follow up visits multiple times during the week of my stay. The location was perfect. It’s very close to the border, I was able to walk to and from in and out of Matamortos. It’s located on the university grounds, the condo was as described, felt like home. Convenient parking, there’s a Stripes nearby and during the day and at night not a lot of traffic. I also noticed it’s so quiet during the day and night. I was within 10-15 mins of HEB, Walmart and the mall and many restaurants. Any questions I had for the host, she was very quick to respond. For the 7 days that I stayed here, I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend and would love to definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Host is super available and communicative. Area is pleasant and close to several restaurants. Pool is very nice. Stayed here for the duration of my internship at SpaceX. If you’re also considering it: Lot X is a ~20 minute drive, Starbase is ~40 minutes.

Un lugar cómodo y alejado del bullicio de la ciudad. Muy cerca del centro comercial. Gris super amable y siempre en comunicación! El lugar muy bueno, cómodo! Batallamos para usar el jacuzzi pero fuera de eso todo bien!

Beautiful apartment!

This was a beautiful place. I was quiet peaceful. We had no problems whatsoever and the host was amazing. My grandson told him that we only had serrated knives and he actually came with a whole bunch of knives for us. That were not serrated. Lol my grandson left a necklace there and he said he would just mail it to us. It was a gold cross. He suggested a lot of different places that we could go and we really enjoyed it.
