Ferienunterkünfte in Matavun

We (family of 4 + our dog) 100% loved Branka’s place. It’s in a lovely, quiet Slovenian village with a stunning view over Triest and the sea. The house and its garden are lovely and welcoming, our kids loved to play in the garden. Branka is a very sweet lady and a great host! She made our stay memorable with her kindness and useful advice! We would love to come back in the future!

L'appartamento è composto da una piccola cucina dotata di ogni attrezzatura necessaria per cucinare, con annessa zona giorno; una grande e luminosa camera da letto con accesso a un delizioso balcone con una vista stupenda sul mare e affaccio sul giardino, un bagno con doccia e una seconda camera matrimoniale mansardata, a cui si accede tramite una scala, adatta a ragazzi o bambini. WI-Fi buono in tutta la casa. La zona in cui si trova è molto tranquilla, ad eccezione delle campane della chiesa vicina. In dieci minuti scarsi a piedi si arriva alla prima spiaggia, in 15 minuti a piedi siete al porto, che è una zona ricca di negozi e ristoranti. Per tutti i 14 giorni del nostro soggiorno abbiamo avuto il posto macchina libero di fronte a casa, che è una cosa utilissima. Blanka e suo marito sono molto accoglienti e disponibili, sempre pronti ad aiutare. Nel complesso siamo state benissimo e ci torneremmo volentieri!

The flat is quite new, all as described, convenient parking. The view from the balcony is just great! The only thing to mention that location is good if you travel by car. All shops are reachable by car only. Small beach Volosko like 20 minutes walk down the hill and same 20 minutes back upstairs almost impossible with children... But by car you can reach many other beaches within 20 minutes or so. We used Medveja beach, which has parking, some activities and beach bar. We had a great stay at all!

Wir waren zu 6 in der Unterkunft und es war eine wirklich schöne Zeit. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht und der Garten war ein Traum. Wir haben viel im Garten gespielt und in der Outdoor Küche gegrillt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und viele schöne Dinge in der Umgebung unternommen. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Wir haben in Familie eine sehr entspannte Woche in Gverinos wunderschönem Steinhaus verbracht. Das Haus hat eine sehr schöne Lage ganz am Ende der Ferienhaussiedlung direkt am Wald. Hinter dem Haus ein gepflegter Garten mit altem Olivenhain, nach vorne der Blick auf die Adria mit Sonnenaufgang über Cres. Um in die nächst gelegenen Orte zu gelangen benötigt man ein Auto und fährt eine Viertelstunde. Die Wege sind gut zu fahren, ein Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Haus. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll saniert. Die Treppen zwischen den Geschossen sind etwas steil aber sehr gut gebaut, für uns kein Problem. Wir haben die Zeit genossen auf den beiden Terrassen mit Blick auf das Meer, beim Spazieren durch den herrlichen mediterranen Wald mit Lorbeer, Salbei und Wacholder hinunter zur abgelegenen Bucht und beim gemeinsamen Kochen in der rustikalen Küche des Hauses. Ein wunderschöner Ort, den ich gern nochmal besuchen würde.

This is a very cosy studio apartment with a small but usable kitchen and a huge terrace with a gorgeous view. Air conditioner worked well. There is an easy way to be fully separated from the neighbouring apartment's balcony. And we were absolutely pleased with the service of the host. There are 96 steps down to the beach which is just fantastic. It belongs to a few houses around, so it is kind of private (N. B. strictly speaking there is no private beach in Croatia.) Great opportunity for swimming and sunbathing. We even saw dolphins one day. I think this is a perfect place when you are looking for a calm and refreshing holiday.

Alen &Gloria’s place was everything we hoped for. It was beautiful, clean and very comfy (the mattress and linens - so good!) The description is 100% accurate, we had everything we needed. The surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful - no city noises, just nature and you. We would love to stay longer.

Pavel’s house on the hill was fabulous. Stunning views with great outdoor eating area and BBQ. The house was full of character, very unusual. Pavel was a great host, and was quick to respond. He went out of his way to help us out. Thank you Pavel.
