Great caravan, well looked after and maintained. It was a short drive to Clacton where there are lots of things to do. We enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommended especially for people like me who need to get to the early morning ferry! Paul was an excellent host, responded very quickly to any questions. The flat has a very functional touch but very clean and everything needed can be found.

Great location with parking close to town centre. Flat was as pictures, clean, tidy and sufficient space. No problems finding or getting in. Would use again. I would have appreciated a bit of a welcome pack with information about using appliances and maybe town map and things to do in the area.

The apartment is very well appointed with a great view over Ipswich Marina with the bonus of some fabulous sunsets too. The apartment is spacious for a two-bedroom accommodation and the two bathrooms are a definite advantage. The host, Martin, was very supportive and attentive to our needs throughout the stay with prompt and friendly communication. I would certainly recommend this apartment and would look to book again for future stays in Ipswich.

Great location, the flat is spacious and has amazing views of the river. Close to lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Good communication from the host. Would definitely recommend!

Great location and very modern house. Was a little dusty and clearly hadn't been hoovered very thoroughly throughout. Reasonably well-equipoed kitchen but disappointed to not have had a coffee machine in such a high-end looking house. Handwritten notes in Sharpie on pieces of paper posted around the house made it feel a little shabby. All said though, the sunsets are magnificent from all angles!

Beautiful lockside property, amazing location with two great pubs right across the way. House was nice and cosy when we arrived and the heating was great all weekend long. We especially loved the conservatory where we at our breakfast in the sun. Perfect for dogs and lots of beautiful walks nearby. Would definitely return in summer. Great stay thank you

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

Visited for a wedding nearby, great stay and Melanie was flexible with check in times.

Stayed over the Easter weekend. Clear instructions on how to find it & get inside. We had 2 cars so parked 1 in the secure gated area which was a real benefit, the other car on the street. There was always space available in the road but not always directly outside the house. The house is on 3 floors with big spacious bedrooms & a seaview from the rear rooms. Exceptionally comfy beds & good quality bed linen & towels. A well equipped kitchen & a good stock of board games in the living room which we had fun using each evening. Other houses in the street had a wheelie bin but I couldn’t find ours so sorry, we couldn’t empty the bins as we normally would when vacating a property. 1 thing I would add to the top floor bedroom would be a comfy chair, there’s space for 1 & it would be a nice place to sit & read. The house is next to a trainline but right at the end of the line so no noise at all. Harwich is small & seemed very quiet. A few shops, pubs & restaurants easy walking distance away.

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The house is enormous yet homely, beautifully appointed and with the most breathtaking views. The pool and spa are an added bonus and the path down to the beach / estuary is gorgeous. All in all an absolutely fabulous place and we will be back. Thank you xxx

Lodge Farm exceeded all our hopes and expectations. Beautiful very well equipped properties which were everything we needed for an extended family coming together. The properties are really spacious, beautifully furnished and presented. Kate, was so helpful throughout the booking process and was available for any help during our stay. Definitely the best holiday property we have ever found. My only regret, I forgot to take my binoculars, watching the farm animals, and wildlife was a delight.

Fantastic location for a seaside stay for myself, my son and our dog. Couldn’t get closer to the beach which was perfect. Apartment had everything you could have asked for and more. A real home from home experience. Hosts were very responsive giving clear directions and instructions. Will definitely be back again

I was attending a course in the area and the stylish and cosy accommodation made it a super all-round experience. The heating warmed the place thoroughly within 5 minutes and all the essentials were provided.

A smart little flat. Only gripes was the usual - lighting: bar one dimmer over the dining table it's just on or off switches. Needs more control. There is one other issue - no extractor fan of any kind for use when cooking. The whole flat then gets the aroma of what you are cooking - good or bad; with the hob where it is on the island an overhead is not a great idea, but new hobs now available with worktop located extractors, I personally would ditch the old one and put one of those in. But over all a good flat - just a shame it's in Ipswich.

Had a wonderful week here, close to the sea front and accommodation was excellent, apartment was well stocked and comfortable, beds really comfortable, a really lovely quiet place to stay, lots of lovely places to see, highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it, the hosts were easily contacted, and were helpful, and extremely wonderful place to stay, thank you Benji and Leah ❤️ xx

Micheal was really warm & welcoming host, with lots of humour & charm. He makes a mean cocktail in their cool little bar at the back of their lovely danish shop He gave us great recommendations for place to go and places to eat . The studio is above the shop and is very clean with everything you need , perfect for 2 people. When we return to Frinton we will definitely be trying to stay at the studio. Thank you’re hospitably

Had a great stay at Agi's place! The apartment is located right on the water with a bunch of shops and restaurants right at hand. Agi was also very responsive and welcoming, offering a book of suggestions on local attractions and willingness to communicate any time.

Absolutely loved staying at Sarah's place in Mistley! Location was central and it was super easy to walk into Mistley or Manningtree. My dog had the best time running around in the fenced garden, the space was cosy and warm and I loved working on my laptop in the sun room looking out at the backyard. Sharon was an excellent host, she came to say hello briefly and have me lots of helpful local recommendations. Can't wait to come back!
