This design villa has big windows from where you can see reindeer running in the stunning forest landscape. After enjoying a Finnish sauna you can cool off on the terrace and admire the Northern Lights and stars in the sky. The cottage is located in a quiet location a few km away from the Ylläs skiing center and Äkäslompolo town.

Forest Ranger's House–Authentic Lappish atmosphere

House is located 5 km from the center of Äkäslompolo in the beautiful Lapland countryside and belongs to the Kuoppa´s farm. Here you can experience the authentic Lapland atmosphere. The house has an area of 127 square meter and can accommodate six people. It is best suited for 1-2 couples, a family, or a small group of friends. For an additional fee and advance booking, we offer breakfast at Cafe & Butik for €15/person and traditional reindeer roast from our own kitchen for €25/person.

The cabin provides comfortable accommodation spaces and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals after long days. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.

Mökki sijaitsee hiihtolatujen, rinteiden ja luontopolkujen välittömässä läheisyydessä. Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta.
