Our two families totaling 10 people felt so comfortable in Staci's beautiful and spacious chalet. There was ample room inside for us to spread out but we also appreciated being able to all get together in either of the two living areas for board games and movies. There are various areas outside to relax whether it's at the beach enjoying the sun, sand and eagles or on the grass with a propane fire, a game of Bocce Ball and watching the local turkeys. Our beds were comfortable the house was very clean and well equipped for our 5 day stay. Staci was kind and quick to respond to all of my questions before and during our stay and checked in with us to see how things were going. I would not hesitate to recommend Staci's chalet and we hope to return next year!

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

We stayed at Kim's cabin over Christmas and it was a great choice. The cosy, wooden interior, the log fireplace, and the moody views across the lake really made it a special stay. The open layout of the main living area makes for a great group hang-out space. - the well stocked kitchen overlooks the living space, with an island with stools in-between - perfect for laying out spreads for people to graze! The dining area to the side, while removed slightly from the main area, is still very open and holding conversations between the 3 areas was seamless We only used the 2 downstairs bedrooms and the furnishings were good and in-keeping with the cosy and rustic feel. We made use of both the sauna and jacuzzi tub, and both worked well. As a group of just 4 we fit very comfortably, but even with 6 I feel there'd be plenty of room to hang out together, or spread out and have your own space if you wanted. Overall a very comfortable property than captures the warm vibe of the Kootenays.

Kat and Mike were amazing hosts. They went over and above to spoil us with local snacks, drinks and preferences that we enjoy at home. They communicated clearly, promptly and concisely. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fabulous BBQ that cooked the steaks better then I can at home. We loved how much thought was put into the little details, like extra comfortable blankets and pillows, games, bug spray, kids beach toys, and enough lawn chairs for our large family as well as enough water toys to allow us to explore the lake together. Lastly the book with local recommendations was very helpful giving us lots of information on what we could, see, explore and eat in and around the area.

Stayed for a few nights while skiing at Red Mountain and Whitewater. It is conveniently ~50 minutes to each resort. The place worked out great for my wife and I and 2 friends. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all of our meals at Tyler’s place. The beds were comfortable and clean. There is minimal cell service in the area, but the WiFi worked great! Thanks for hosting us!

The Bear den is in a nice, quiet location with beautiful views and easy for access to skiing and close to downtown Nelson. It has a full functioning kitchen, and the Bear den is beautiful and very comfortable and clean with wonderful extra touches. It felt warm and restful at the end of a day skiing. Jessica was easy to connect with and she answered quickly. We enjoyed our stay at the Bear den, and felt very safe. This is a place we would visit again.

We always stop in Rossland for a few days but this was our first time staying off the hill to get a better house. And it was truly worth it. Pats place was amazing. Tucked in the woods and very private, great modern design with heated concrete floors. Enough rooms for all of us and the mattresses were really comfortable. At the time it was missing a hot tub but we got over that really quickly. Truly appreciate the stay and would def come back

Brent and Rose (and their pups, Amber & Coco) are fabulous hosts! It’s a beautiful location, they are friendly and proactive communicators, and it’s a perfect space. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is absolutely a beautiful spot. From start to finish the stay was five star from location to service. Franca and her daughter were beyond great hosts. I highly recommend this place.

Loved our stay at Hummingbird! The suite was beautifully designed and decorated. Everything was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the open and spacious kitchen area and the patio. Being right at the resort, it was so nice to be able to get to the lifts in the morning without worrying about parking and to be able to come back for lunch. Would 100% stay again!

Well located close to the chairlifts, clean and functional apartment with a king bed in the upstairs loft and a murphy bed on the lower level. Handy and secure storage room in the hallway by the front door to the apartment, perfect for snowboards/skis and boots, etc. Karen was responsive and prompt in all communications, and provided helpful information on restaurants and activities around Red Mtn and Rossland. The apartment is located in a building called 'The Crescent at Red', and the undercover parking space was tight for our F150; smaller vehicles will have no issue however, and there is also plenty of parking in the lot outside the front door to the building. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Amy’s place is wonderful! Very clean and had all the amenities needed for our weekend stay. Amy is a top host, quick to respond and respectful. I would recommend her bright spacious basement suite for sure 😊

Davis was super friendly, and accommodating. His place has literally everything you would need. The kitchen was well stocked! The yard was awesome for the family! David had great instructions on how to find the cool local spots. Our family had a great time there!

We loved it! Less than 10 mins drive from Red Mountain and walking distance to everything downtown Rossland. Highly recommend for your next ski trip!

Loved our little getaway for my birthday! We had a fantastic stay. The place was spotless, quiet, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It’s clear the host puts a lot of thought into the details—from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy atmosphere. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic weekend the cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very peaceful and quiet. Close to the hot springs, beaches and provincial parks. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

Kailee was a great host! She always responded quickly and was very helpful with any questions we had. She also provided very clear instructions on how to find her place as it’s a little off the grid. This place is beautiful, peaceful, private and the animals add the extra touch to make this a unique Airbnb. It’s close enough to town; but, still tucked away that you get that privacy. The home was clean and comfortable, would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

Rustic cabin in the woods not far from the construction and expansion going on at RED Mountain resort. Much quieter than the condos at the base of the resort and could hear the creek near the house. Great spot for our family to explore the area.

We were lucky enough to spend 3 months here at Jolaine and Erin’s awesome space. Always responsive and ready to help with anything we needed without a fuss. The cabins are super cosy and the shared space is very well set up with two great bathrooms and the gym. A special mention to the creek running through the property that is great for a cold dip. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore, lovely hosts and a great property with everything you could need. Look forward to staying again sometime!

What a beautiful oasis this turned out to be. The charm of a cabin and the privacy of the woods made it a relaxing and calming vacation. We would definitely recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I had a great stay at the Cedar Cabin. Superb location for exploring Kaslo and Ainsworth. Loved morning coffee on the deck with views of Kootenay Lake. Being dog friendly made it all the better for the whole family. We would love to stay here again. Mike and Ulla were top notch hosts and attentive to our needs.

I had my bachelorette trip at Jody's Cabin, & me and my 3 bridesmaids had a blast! The cabin was super cute, across the road beside the Kootenay Lake. A 5 minute drive down the road led you to 'Twin Bays Beach', a beautiful public beach, with nice sand & swimmable clear water. A 30min drive from the cabin takes you to Creston city, where you can pick up groceries, hit up wineries, explore the downtown and many other activities. The Cabin itself was clean & spacious. 2 beds & a big couch easy enough to sleep 2 on. Jody supplied us with some water, half a big jug of water & lots of smaller water bottles in the fridge. The cabin had everything you needed, fridge, stove, TV ect. Beautiful view of the lake & mountains as well. Would stay here again!
