Had a very nice stay. Very welcoming and friendly people, lovely house with all facilities you need.

Jordan was a fabulous host his communication from start to finish was so friendly and prompt and the flat was exactly as described , beautifully presented and immaculate . The views over the Tyne are lovely and it is about a 30 minute walk along to the great bars and restaurants along the quayside so you are away from the bustle in a quiet residential area . We were there for the unforgettable Caraboa Cup celebrations and could easily walk up into town , one of my highlights was a run along the quayside seeing the iconic landmarks in the early morning . Thank you Jordan for the thoughtful goodies on arrival ! Highly recommend this stylish and comfortable property and we hope to make a return visit .

It really was a brilliant place and hope Chris would accept us again! me and my family really needed this break and was a perfect location and perfect little setting. Comfortable beds and extremely clean.

We bleven slechts 1 nachtje, maar waren overdonderd over hoe mooi het appartement is. De bedden waren heerlijk, de tv werkte goed, de keuken zag er perfect uit. Het enige mini-minpuntje was dat we er niet bij stilstonden dat er een boiler is voor warm water, dus een paar van ons clubje had een koude douche. Maar dat weegt niet op tegen al het moois!

Lovely compact flat, right in the heart of Berwick. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants, beach, castle and a 5min walk across the bridge to Tweedmouth. Host was proactive with instructions and helpful when needed. Thank you 😊

I booked this place for my parents and they enjoyed every minute of their stay at Michelle’s place, wishing they could extend their stay even longer. The apartment is identical to the photos. Michelle maintained contact throughout the stay and was always responsive, if needed. A beautiful home and a beautiful view, with an attentive host. Everything is close by, walking distance or venturing out in the car. All in all a very peaceful and easy stay, which is what everyone is looking for. Thanks again Michelle!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. Also loved the tie sofa! The centre of Seahouses and the coastal path were in very easy reach.

Nice big house with lovely view of the sea. Great location for access to the beach and can also walk to neighbouring Seahouses.

Stylish, spacious, very comfortable house in quiet setting with peaceful Marina views. Bright and light because of the big windows at the back. Exactly what it says ‘on the tin’. Had a relaxing 2 nights here and plan to come again when visiting family in Newcastle.

We (3 adults) have just returned home after a very enjoyable stay of 4 nights at Estuary Cottage. We found the cottage very comfortable, well equipped and an excellent base for touring the mid Northumberland coastal area. Ali is a very helpful host and quick to respond to any queries.

Very well-equipped kitchen including scales and measuring jug, so set up for proper cooking! Beautiful bed linen and towels, lovely cosy duvet. Appreciated the welcome packs, one of tea, coffee etc. and one of washing-up requisites. House very clean & warm - had to turn down the central heating! Quirky seaside-themed decor. Neighbour helpfully put wheely-bin out & in again, otherwise you'd be dragging it through the living room. We enjoyed the novelty of being able to walk to Post Office, shops, pubs etc. (at home we're 4 miles from nearest). Parking tricky at Easter (but we were warned in the info!) Great wee retreat for a couple. Excellent deli opposite, great crab sandwich at the Sun Inn. Lots of public footpaths to neighbouring villages as well as coastal trail, so plenty of walking opportunities."

Stunning accommodation with some of the best views I’ve stayed in. Dolphins popping out the water in the morning and incredible sunsets. The house is so nice and warm that even after being in the ocean minutes earlier it was like a giant hug. Wonderful place

A wonderful quiet stay in a delightful flat on the second floor with wide stairs. Comfortable with everything provided with tasteful decor. Easy to find the keys with excellent access when parking the car. View was lovely and a great location for the beach and local amenities. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Robert

We decided spontaneously to have weekend away and Dexter was really accommodating as we literally booked it, threw things in the car and left. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready for us and even changed his own plans to do this. The house was perfect for us and our dogs. It was literally a stones throw to the beach (you could even see it from the main bedroom window) We had a wonderful, restful weekend and the dogs are tired out from beach fun and lovely walks. Thank you so much :)

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Newcastle. Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns in der Wohnung wie zuhause sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick auf dem Yachthafen und auf die Tyne ist wunderschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideaway! The location was perfect, and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. It was a bit more compact than we had pictured, but so thoughtfully laid out that it still felt cosy and comfortable. Packing and unloading weren’t entirely straightforward, but the option to park for free in the main car park or down by the river was a real plus, both were very convenient. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful riverside walks leading to the castle or the beach. The local pubs are delightfully dog-friendly, and everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. A big thank you to our host, Elaine, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, it made our stay all the more enjoyable. We're truly grateful for such a lovely experience!

Great stay at the apartment, Karen was an amazing host, she kept in contact with us and met us on arrival. Karen even helped us to carry our luggage inside. The apartment was spotlessly clean and perfect for our short break in Newcastle. Great hosts and would highly recommended.

Located on the tidal River Tyne,,,Mark's flat is a 'serene setting by the sea',, providing a :55 min walkable 'friendly locals' espanade to the Swing bridge into town,,you'll see birds,,dramatic skies w/occasional sunset,,old shipping '5-Nfl long' wooden platform w/cranes for then coal,,, & folks exercising! Find the cafe too. Mark is a seasoned traveler, & he'll suggest local sights as,,the Lit & Phil 1700s library,,, Colbridge Roman ruins,,,plus finding museums as the Laing, Shipley, Hancock & Hatton. Always attentive & well informed. Thanks for your goodness.
