Henry and April were outstanding! They answered every question we had ahead of time promptly and thoroughly, and when we ran into an issue with the Keurig machine (not their fault at all) she came right over to resolve it and dropped off a new coffee maker. Very friendly and accommodating and we loved their beautiful home. Thank you so very much!

We rented Amanda's place for 2 nights in the winter and it surpassed our expectations! Amanda was a great communicator. The older cottage has been extensively renovated, it was clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the wood stove and the heating system worked well. The kitchen is first-rate, and very well-equipped, it even had decent knives! We cook a lot and we very much enjoyed making meals there. We loved watching the ever-changing weather on the river from the picture window in the living room, and even saw a beautiful sunrise. The star of our stay was the sauna—we have a wood-burning sauna at home and at our cottage—and we were very impressed with its size, the modern design, the huge picture window and the style of stove. It got up to temperature even in -17 degree weather. We hiked and snowshoed in the Alexander Hope Smith Nature Reserve which was a walk from the cottage. The town of Washago was a 11 minute drive, with a great grocery store. Would definitely stay there again!

It was a beautiful weekend. The surroundings were peaceful and place was super cozy. Apt for a relaxing weekend trip by the lake.

This place truly felt like home. The host was amazing—super communicative and thoughtful throughout the stay. Loved every moment and would definitely come back again!

Warren’s home was beautiful! The backyard walking out to the water was amazing. Warren was very helpful & responsive with questions and my friends and I felt right at home! We will definitely be back. Looking for a night away with friends or even a week vacation, I’d definitely recommend this gem ☺️

Our stay was amazing. Simply put the lake house us relaxing, with everything was easy. The home is clean with everything we needed for the best mini vacation. Our dogs enjoyed the comfort as did we for having a space we can travel that is inclusive to dig parents. The lake house is a home, away from home that provides a space to visit with family who live in this area. The scene out the windows I pure magic. This Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! The location was stunning, overlooking the water. The Airbnb itself was bright and spacious, with everything you needed to feel right at home. The sunset view was absolutely breathtaking every night and the hot tub was such a nice treat after long days. The only 2 things that could make it even better: First would be having hand towels in the bathrooms (George did tell us we had to bring towels, but we figured he meant bath towels and didn’t think to bring hand towels too). Second, the stairs to the airbnb door are quite steep which was fine for us, but worth making note of if anyone has mobility issues. Also, the private beach access is borderline dangerous, with broken steps and uneven ground. However, it did look like there was construction underway for new stairs, hopefully! Overall, George was great and we loved this place. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

We loved our stay at CJ Cottage. It is right on the lake with a lovely view and large yard. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. Having the pass to Point Pelee National Park was a great bonus. We used it each day and enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Rox nous a offert un service 5 étoiles ! Elle nous a accompagné a chaque étape et elle a veillé à ce que tout se passe bien pour nous :) Ce fut un super séjour en famille entouré de paysages verdoyants. Nous avons particulièrement aimé utiliser les barques et le paddle board, mais également le fire pit et les jeux de société pour grand et petits. Les pièces étaient toutes propres et les draps sentaient bons le propre ! Nous recommandons cette maison à 100%

This place is wonderful. It was very well appointed. The lake is private and peaceful. There are large windows in the house overlooking looking the lake and a huge comfortable couch. The hottub is amazing bonus. The bedrooms were clean and well-designed. We will certainly be back!

Miranda’s cottage was a great spot for our annual ATV trip. The cottage was very clean and as described. Having a sauna and the ability to swim in the lake was also nice. Look forward to returning to the cottage continuing.

such a beautiful place. right on the lake amazing view. nothing tops sitting in the hot tub and staring out onto the lake. such a relaxing stay and they provided everything we needed inside.
