A calm lake chalet in wood, between two regional parks, minutes walk from nature trails and off the beaten path. East windows let the happy morning light on natural materials and heated floors. In the evening, a cozy cinema with ambient sound by a fireplace, a second media room with a turntable ideal for music. Outdoors, a hot tub, a wood-burning sauna, a fireplace by the lake and a slide. Cross-country ski, snowshoe trails are minutes’ walk, and snowmobile routes start right at the driveway.

We are just 1 hour from Toronto with easy access off the 407. We also have an amazing log cabin for rent on the same 300 acres.

Forest Loft - Forest, Sauna, Ponds & Stargazing

The “Forest Loft” is a one-of-a-kind space surrounded by the old-growth trees of Kinghurst Forest. The 1,600-square-foot space sleeps up to four and features two Queen-size beds and linens, huge harvest table, indoor kitchenette with a stovetop and fridge, filtered water, shower, propane and wood stove heating, in-door basketball hoop, hammock, picnic table, a commercial grade BBQ, fire ring and access to two beautiful spring-fed ponds. We are just across from The Magnetawan river system - great for fishing, and just 5 minutes from the public beach, dock and boat launch. Our Lakeview Condo is one of the waterfront condo units at Hidden Valley. Enjoy the sandy beach and shallow water just steps away from the unit or jump in the deep water from the dock. Enjoy the afternoon sun on the patio and have BBQ dinner, read a book on the balcony with breathtaking views of the lake or cozy up inside in front of the wood burning fire place. In the winter we are located at the base of Hidden Valley Ski area where you can easily walk on over to enjoy.
