Railway Cottage is a historical 168 year old cottage nestled in the heart of Bellingham and Northumberland 's dark skies. It's ideal for couples and is pet friendly. It’s on the main street in the village, set back from the road. Pubs, shops etc are within walking distance. It is a superb base from which to discover and explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Kielder Forest and the historic market town of Hexham are a short drive away. The cottage also backs onto an 18 hole golf course.

The cottage is on a working farm within easy reach of Morpeth, a busy market town 5 miles south. The towns of Alnwick ( the castle having featured in the Harry Potter film) and Rothbury are also 20 min away and well worth a visit. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Lovingly converted, pet friendly barn set on a working farm with fantastic views across the Rede valley. Open plan living/kitchen area with log burning stove and flooded with natural light. A one bed roomed but spacious bungalow, converted from a farm building. Set amongst beautiful Northumberland countryside. The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Wifi. A good place for couples and solo adventurers. Matfen hall and Vallum 5 miles or so away if you are coming to a wedding

WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Dog- friendly cottage with woodburner & games room

Ivy Cottage is the perfect size for 2, although it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal location, for cycling, walking, fishing and playing golf. There are dog-friendly pubs and cafes within walking distance, as well as a good selection of shops. We have an onsite games room, free for our guests to enjoy. We can accommodate 1 large or 2 small pets, however, please note, we do not have have a secure garden area. The cottage has many wonderful walks right on the doorstep for you to explore.

A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.
