An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. During the hours of 8am-5pm Mon-Friday there could be some noise. We reduced our prices to reflect that and promise to take great care of you!:)

The Cabin - cabin w/ private hot tub

Private luxury cabin with the best views in the Columbia Valley. Located on Ottoson Road, the cabin is only 4 minutes from downtown Golden and the perfect start point for your mountain adventure. With incredible views of KHMR and the Dogtooth range, this cabin is the ultimate getaway in the mountains. This listing sleeps four comfortably and can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. Wolf Cottage

Wolf cottage is nestled in the trees on a private gated homestead, with a feature double log bed, TV, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave, table and 2 stools, bathroom with hot water shower, towels provided, a great sized outside deck area with BBQ. There is a loft area that could sleep 1 small adult accessed by a ladder. Nice mountain views, lots of back country recreation on the doorstep including the river, waterfall and glaciers, Golden is a 20 minute drive away.

Nordic Cabin with Cozy Loft and Fireplace

This little Nordic inspired cabin is close to everything but in a peaceful spot just outside of town, walking distance from the Golden Sky Bridge, 5 min ride into the centre of town, and 15 min to Kickinghorse Ski Resort. This beautiful cabin has a two-burner cooktop stowed away to cook your own meals and a mini wood-burning stove to keep you cozy. The Nordic Cabin has everything you need in a small cozy footprint. Located in Yoho National Park and just 20 minutes from beautiful Lake Louise, you can experience all the wonders of the Canadian Rockies. The guest floor is located in the basement with direct walk out to garden of a private house hosts live in. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Lake Louise Ski Area and 50 minutes from the Kicking Horse Ski Resort in Golden. Escape the busy crowds and yet be close to Lake O'Hara, Lake Louise, the Icefields Parkway and Banff.

Mount VanHorne Guesthouse

Your suite has a private entrance. It is a self contained 400 square foot apartment, in the basement of our home, with a full kitchen (oven, fridge, microwave and all cooking utensils). It can accommodate up to 4 people with its queen size bed in a separate bedroom and a pullout sofa in the living room. The suite is equipped with satellite TV and free WiFi. There is also complimentary tea and coffee for your enjoyment.
