This is a beautiful old home kept in great condition. It was cozy, spacious, and comfortable!

We loved this quiet get-away and Lona made everything so special with continental breakfast and working with us on things we needed. Loved the sitting rooms and the nature around. The mattress was a bit soft for two, but it was a great stay!

Gleydys was the best host ever! She made us feel so welcome in her home and provided the most delicious breakfast which was a bonus! She shared wonderful history with us and offered great suggestions for surrounding activities and sights. We fel so much love from her and I will definitely return to stay with her again. She's the Best!!!

Before we even arrived, Donna had reached out with directions and check-in information. Once we arrived, we quickly learned what a delight Donna is, and how she loves her guests and wants each person to feel special. We were in town for the wedding of my husband's friend. The guys had lots of things planned, but I enjoyed Molly's Manor and the town. There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor. Our room was very comfortable, with a private bathroom. There was a family room down the hall that contained many amenities. There was a beautiful front porch with lots of seating options. Perfect to enjoy any time of the day or evening. I had the opportunity to learn the history of the property and take a tour. The basement suite and Carriage House are also lovely options. The paved off street parking was nice and a large area. I walked to a coffee shop, diner, pizza place, grocery store, C-store and consignment store. This town has much more to offer. Molly's Manor and Donna are gems!

We enjoyed our stay at Valiant. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The view was great. It was easy to come and go without feeling like we were inconveniencing anyone. Friendly host. Overall a very welcoming experience!

Barbara was a delightful and attentive host. She was very friendly and responsive to questions. I especially appreciated the flexibility she was able to give us with check-in and check-out times. We stayed in three of her rooms (Madrid, Venice, and Vienna), and the were all stunning. The continental breakfast was as delicious as it was beautiful. I recommend this wonderful B&B without reservation, and look forward to future stays!

My second stay here was like my first. The location is near an event I had and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Dianne is a friendly and considerate host. I predict I'll stay there again.

I needed some quiet time for reflection. Teri's rental was absolutely perfect. Everything I needed was within walking distance and the privacy and coziness were exceptional . I have already talked with two travelling groups about plans to return.

This was a very comfortable stay in the historical home of one of America’s great authors.

Needed a place to crash at last minute. Check in was confirmed right away and the place was sparkling clean.

Michael has a quirky, dry and fun sense of humor which immediately puts you at ease. He met us just as we drove up and helped with the luggage which was a huge help since we were on the 2nd floor with no available elevator. This place is the perfect location if you want to be in the center of the town. Although we were warned about the train passing through the town, we enjoyed the sound of the train and its horn. Though we forgot to eat (or take) the homemade bread left for us, Michael assured us it was delicious.

The home, built in the early 1900s, exudes charm and nostalgia, with its beautifully preserved antique furnishings and period decor. It was like stepping back in time in the most enchanting way. From the moment we arrived, Todd made us feel incredibly welcome. His warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with wonderful service and fresh fruit, bread, and the best coffee. The bed in our room was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The entire property was immaculately clean, and they thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need. We were thoroughly impressed with the combination of historic charm and modern comfort. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Martha's Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

This was the halfway point in our road trip and we just needed a place to stay. It was very easy to get into despite us running late. We were very pleased with the accommodations. It is next to a 24 hour gas station and for us that was a bonus because it was easy to fill up and get back on the road quickly. I would definitely stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the host was very very respectful, polite, and very generous. This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and I can honestly say it was well over worth it, and if I could I’d stay again anytime

The host was able to accommodate a last minute reservation on a Saturday night when every hotel in town was full after my wife and daughters hotel reservation got messed up and left them stranded. The host immediately called me after I booked the trip and drove over to the property to get a room ready for them. The room was nice and there was plenty of amenities (the host even went and stocked up on food for them). They really saved the day so my family could make it to their dance competition in the morning. Highky recommend. Thank you so much!

Miss Murphy’s B&B was a wonderful stay — Caroline went above and beyond to make our engagement trip unforgettable, even surprising us with tulips to mark the occasion. Her thoughtfulness made it feel truly special. The B&B itself is charmingly vintage, impeccably clean, and nestled on beautifully maintained grounds. One of the unexpected highlights was getting to meet Clementine, the resident duck, each morning — such a delight! Breakfast was delicious, served with care and right on time. We felt so at home. I can’t recommend this place enough when visiting Galena — it’s a true gem, full of heart and character.

Rebecca was extremely friendly and we felt right at home, was an amazing place to stay and would love to be back again.
