Insuperable. Todo limpio, ordenado y la cocina está super bien equipada. Los anfitriones son lo más pura vida que uno se pueda imaginar. Los perritos lindos. El equilibrio entre la jungla y la comodidad son perfectos. ¡Quisiéramos quedarnos a vivir en esta casa jajaja! Volveremos.

The airbnb was so beautiful ! Orietta was so kind & willing to help with everything. She was very accomidating & responsive. The location is beautiful & felt very safe & comfortable. There were open windows so you could see the wildlife & it felt amazing. Very clean as well!

This home was amazing! It always felt like you were outside and in nature and it is a one minute walk from the beach. With restaurants and markets nearby you don’t need to go far if you don’t want to! Overall five stars felt very safe with the locks and alarms!

Wonderful place for a relaxed and comfortable stay! The apartment was spotless, peaceful, and perfectly located, close to everything yet quiet. Carlos was a very friendly, responsive, and attentive host throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Located right by all of the action and so close to the Punta Uva Beach, this was a beautiful setting and home to stay in. It was private paradise with lush vegetation and all of the songs of the jungle.

This place was an absolute dream! Tucked away in a quiet residential area, that felt like our own private jungle retreat. We got to hear the sound of howler monkeys—it was such a magical experience. The location was perfect: close enough to Puerto Viejo and nearby beaches for easy access, but far enough to avoid the crowds and really relax. We stayed with our toddler and it couldn’t have been more perfect—safe, peaceful, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a huge bonus and so refreshing after a day of exploring. 10/10—highly recommend and hope to return!

We loved our stay at Tucán Escondido! Amazing setting, comfortable and spacious home for a small group. Great space for a small group or family in a serene setting but close to the attractions of Puerto Viejo.

Truly a magical stay. The openness of the upper level allowed us to experience the outdoors & the beautiful sounds of nature while still feeling very private. The house was well stocked with everything we needed.

A very peaceful place, surrounded by nature—super clean and organized, with all the necessary utensils, just right to feel at home. The location is key, as it’s close to many of the best beaches and just 5 minutes from Manzanillo. Totally recommended!

This stay was absolutely beautiful—far better than the pictures, which don’t capture how lush and grown-in the gardens are now. The space felt perfectly private, yet all the amenities we needed were just a short drive away. It was such a refreshing change from a busy hotel—more peaceful, more comfortable, and really felt like home. One of the biggest surprises was the visit from about 20 monkeys swinging through the trees above us—an unforgettable moment! The vibrant night life in the area also caught us by surprise in the best way. We loved every part of our stay and would absolutely recommend!

Excelente opción, la fotos no le hacen justicia al lugar. Las instalaciones, la ubicación, la atención, la limpieza, la paz del lugar valen completamente la pena. ¡Esperamos regresar!

Smelled nice walking in, very tidy and clean, nice maters, nice bed sheets, good soft thick toilet paper , might need a better sharp knife. Toilet is not fully closed in the roof , not an issue just think new couples might want to know about this detail lol. You leave the car outside which is weird but is safe apparently, nothing happened. All necessary for comfort. private, cute Caribbean arquitectura . Close to Main Street , restaurants and beach , recommend it and will come back , I know many spots on the area this one is my favorite one so far if you come by car .

Estuvo todo excelente, una casa muy tranquila, en la selva, con buena vista a los animales que van pasando alrededor, y a la vez muy cerca de la playa. El lugar es de fácil acceso y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una cómoda y relajada estadía. Los anfitriones fueron muy amables. La casa estaba muy limpia, con una cocina muy bien equipada. Sin lugar a dudas volveríamos a repetir la experiencia.

What a stunning location and home! Everything about Villa Toucan and Villa Macaw was thought out. The outdoor bathrooms (beautiful!), the open kitchen and dining are (outstanding), the lovely, helpful staff (priceless)! All in all we had an amazing holiday in your home. We do apologize for the shift and widening of your driveway, following our transport getting stuck!!! You’re not kidding when you say a 4x4 is needed in the rainy season! But we had a healthy and active group of 15 and we’re able to walk the driveway on many occasions! Superb location that allows you to stay IN THE JUNGLE, but so close to so many great beaches and activities!

Cuando llegamos la casa estaba realmente limpia y ordenada. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar en familia y además está ubicada cerca de Puerto Viejo y las otras playas pero sin perder la paz y tranquilidad. La pasamos muy bien.

A lovely place to land in the busy town of Puerto Viejo. Easy to walk to a lot of things and a very peaceful place to rest and relax from the day’s activities. Appreciated the private and secure setting and parking. The pool was also refreshing. The kitchen is small but adequate.

What a great place and a great hostess. Had all the amenities we needed and we made a few meals a home. We stayed a week and Erinn organized a mid week clean, which was great. The place was idyllic with lovely gardens, plenty of hot water and wash facilities. Having separate rooms at the end allowed the teenagers their space too. Finally a great thanks to Erinn, she booked restaurant for us the first night, answered all our questions - got us in touch with an excellent guide Juanito. Was there when we needed and not when we didn't thank you Erinn. We went surfing, snorkeling, trekking to a waterfall for swimming and did a round with the local tribes to learn about their culture and chocolate making. We had a fantastic week. If we ever come back to Costa Rica we will be back here. Andrea

This is my 2nd visit to Casa Jungle Love, and it was just as lovely and peaceful as my 1st visit. This beach house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the visiting wildlife while sitting out in the garden. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Small grocery store right next door. Beach access right across the street to Playa Chiquita, with many other beaches to explore close by. Danielle and family are great hosts and super welcoming. Visiting with them is always a pleasure. Can't wait to come back and visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The green surroundings as well as the lovely decor in the house and the plants outside, were so enjoyable. We loved that it was away from the hustle and bustle. Such lush vegetation around about. The little house was so very well equipped, clean, cheerful, colourful and comfortable, including the little area outside the house where we could relax, have a BBQ or eat meals. The wifi and access to entertainment like Netflix or games/books were great! Having a washing machine and dryer at our disposal was super! When we visit again, we look forward the seeing the growth of the fruit trees! Our hosts were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful at all times - always going the extra mile if needed and giving great advice about activities. We definitely recommend this airbnb! Thank you!
