Ferienunterkünfte in San Donato-San Vitale, Bologna

I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Bologna. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt right at home from day one. The location is brilliant very walkable into the centre or to the local shops. It is very peaceful and you feel in a real community. The apartment likewise had everything you would need for longer stays and we felt upset to leave. Great host who is really responsive.

Almost everything was great, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Since Italy has stringent recycling and garbage disposal rules, it was unfortunate that the apartment did not have presort bins. Worse yet, the previous tenant lost the key card needed to dispose of miscellaneous waste (i.e. stuff that isn't simple paper, plastic, glass, or organic - which is more than one would think) so we needed to be rather creative about that. It would have been better had we been told about it ahead of time. The other oddity was that the dining table had only one chair, making it an awkward arrangement for two people. The kitchen counter had two stools but we needed that space for makeshift recycling bins. The apartment faces the courtyard which avoids all street noise but not air conditioning unit noise should you want to leave the window open. It's a 15 minute walk to the train station but 25 minutes to the old city center. However, bus service is plentiful. All in all, we would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Ilenas place! The apartment was nice and clean and location was perfect for us. We needed a place close to the airport but it was also very easy to take a bus to city center! Neighborhood was calm and safe. Ilena was a lovely and helpful host. :)

Alessandra ist eine großartige Gastgeberin. Sie ist sehr bemüht, Ihren Gästen den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig und gemütlich und hat einen schönen Holzofen, an dem wir abends gerne gesessen sind. Die Aussicht und die Natur rund um das Haus ist sind wunderschön. Wir hanen den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Silvia è un host di primo livello, gentilissima, professionale, cordiale.. l'alloggio è meraviglioso e assolutamente curato in ogni dettaglio. La zona dove si trova l'immobile è una delle più belle di Bologna, comoda , verde, silenziosa..mi sono trovata benissimo e spero di poter tornare prestissimo. grazie mille Silvia! Consigliatissimo!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. é la seconda volta che alloggiano da Federica ed é sempre stato tutto comodo, pulito e senza grossi problemi. Federica ê sempre disponibile e pronta a date consigli anche sui dintorni. Siamo stati da lei per poter lavorare in fiera, la distanza é di circa 15 minuti di macchina e comoda da raggiungere.Sei distante dalla confusione in mezzo alla natura e dopo giornate faticose é un piacere rientrare.
