We also have a flat screen HDTV, high-speed WIFI internet access and brand new a Air Conditioning system. Guests will have access to the Guest Studio and all of its amenities as well as the newly landscaped back yard and patio with gas fire pit + seating for four, an outdoor dining area, bocce ball court, ping pong table and private, hot water, outdoor shower Residential parking permits will be provided as parking in our neighborhood is restricted to residents and their guests only. Housekeeping and laundry services can be made available during your stay for an additional fee We can greet you upon arrival or arrange for a self-check-in. While located on a quiet, residential street this property is conveniently located within a short walking distance of numerous local hot spots such as: Ghisallo, Jyan Issac Bakery, Love Coffee, Santa Monica Yoga, Local Kitchen + WineBar, Thyme Cafe & Market as well as parks, tennis courts, golf, a beautiful swim center, the beach, plus two Breeze BikeShare locations are also right nearby! Guests can drive, walk, bike, bus, or Uber/Lyft all around Santa Monica. Bike lanes run adjacent to the house and the Big Blue Bus stops one short block away and can take you straight to the beach, the Third Street Promenade, Westwood, etc.. The new Expo line runs from the beach to Culver City, USC, Downtown LA and other locations with a stop conveniently located a short distance from our house. There are also two new Breeze BikeShare stations right nearby. Casa Carmona, a Mid-City Garden Oasis near Museums

Casa Carmona is a little oasis in the big city. It's convenient to just about anywhere you would want to visit while in Los Angeles. Private entrance allows you to come and go as you please. Very diverse selection of restaurants and there is a 7-11 as well as a small grocery store (that delivers) less than a block away if you would rather eat in. Laundromat and dry cleaners are one block away which is helpful for longer stays. Street parking is available. Convenient to public transportation. Full access to the guest house and the backyard area including lounge chairs and dining table. I live in the adjacent house so am able to offer help during guest's stay. I love meeting my guests from all over the world but respect your privacy and comfort! Casa Carmona sits behind a charming Spanish house in Wilshire Vista, a neighborhood created in the 1920s. This is a diverse and safe area, within walking distance of Museum Row and the Grove. Plenty of free parking is available. Approximately half my guests rent a car and there is unrestricted street parking available except for street cleaning on Tuesday afternoons. The other half of my guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes. There is plentiful public transportation within walking distance. One bus stop is less than a block away on one major street and another the opposite direction a block and a half from the house. There is also a Zip Car location less than a block away. The main bed is full size. The pullout sofa is twin bed. There is a small fridge/freezer, microwave oven, 2 burner electric cooktop, and George Forman grill for cooking. Also have a Keurig for coffee and electric tea kettle and assortment of teas. There is a end table that is gate-leg so can be used for in-room dining. Folding chairs in closet as well as extra folding table in closet. Hair dryer in bathroom. Plenty of closet space. Two luggage racks. Iron is provided. I also provide a beach blanket, tote and towels for excursions to the beach. For relaxation time at the Casa there are plentiful entertainment options including Amazon Echo, TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, many movies, PlayStation and several board games with even more available upon request!
