Iconic home and Farm in Dyke, Virginia, circa 1891. Situated on the Roach River with views of the Blue Ridge mountains and pastures. Relax on one of the double porches or under on of the shade trees. The stone fireplace warms the heart and soul on a cool evening. Minutes from the Shenandoah National Parkway, the Blue Ridge School and several beautiful wineries. Approx. 12 miles from CHO airport, 20 min from Blue ridge Parkway, 10 min. to Standardsville and 20 miles to Charlottesville.

The Cottage

Need some time to refresh? Spending time in the foothills of the Skyline Drive at our cozy cottage may be for you. Well behaved dogs are welcome but not on furniture. The driveway is long and home is very secluded. Winter access will be subject to weather conditions. Driveway does not get plowed and gets rutty during rainy periods. Cell service is spotty on Browntown road. The cottage has a landline and wifi. Use your wifi calling feature for cell phone use. More info under photos.

Enjoy the view from the hot-tub! A central location: 15 min drive to the SNP Swift Gap Run entrance, 15 min to Massanutten 4 season resort, 30 min to historic Harrisonburg. The quaint town of Elkton has excellent cafes and adorable antique shops, and the area is rife with wineries and breweries, often with live music!

The cabin is located in Brightwood, Virginia, a small town located in Madison County between Culpeper and Charlottesville Virginia.
