We had a wonderful time. The home was spacious and clean. It was very close to the downtown area, which made its location ideal.

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

House was very accommodating for our group of 10. Hot tub was a great way to end the day. Only complaint was the beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked but we're okay. Overall would recommend for a larger group as there is plenty of room to play and relax.

This is the second weekend we stayed at this house and we love it, the mornings on the deck watching the deer and turkeys is so peaceful. Hot tub at night was very enjoyable, hopefully we will back in the near future

The house was as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed. The views were amazing and we saw a few deer wandering around, too. We would definitely recommend - it was perfect for a group of six (3 adult couples), with room to spare!

We took our large family here for our Christmas get together and it was PERFECT!! The layout accommodated our family PERFECTLY and the bar area was GREAT for our adult late night gatherings while the younger children were sleeping! The scenery was beautiful and felt very secluded....although it is only a few minutes from town! Scott was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful! We do these trips every year and this is DEFINITELY a place we would consider staying at again!

Excellent place to escape the city and relax. Host was great and super easy to communicate.

We have stayed here twice and love it! It is a very relaxing,beautiful location and also close to all the amenities.

This was our home base for 9 days while we explored all around the Black Hills and into Wyoming. The house was very comfortable for us , our friends who joined for the first few days, and our two pups. It was easy to find, easy to get into, and easy to feel right at home. Ryan’s recommendations for food did not disappoint. We were all craving a good steak dinner our first night there, so we decided to try Delmonico Grille. The food was amazing!!! We also ventured out and tried a couple places on our own. Ryan, if you haven’t been, you should go to these two places. Murphy’s Pub & Grille has a great atmosphere, and their bacon wrapped buffalo meatloaf is worth the trip! Next up is Neighbors Grub & Pub. Seriously, the best burger I’ve ever had!! All of Ryan’s suggestions for things to see were already on our list and were absolutely amazing!! This was definitely one of our most memorable vacations

Really close to everything in Deadwood, our group had a great time here!

This is our second stay here, and it was just as amazing! We loved the cabin - it is so full of cowboy decor, I saw things I hadn’t even noticed before. We loved going out to see the sites during the day and coming back to cook our dinner in a single pan on the grill. There is a side burner and a microwave, if you need it, and a Keurig coffee maker. Groceries are in the town of Hot Springs which we passed through. After eating out so often on our travels, it was nice to cook here. We also liked walking around visiting the horses being boarded, and checking out the little town and chuck wagon that John and Pat created. The best part of all was, at dusk, about 25 wild horses came down the hill just outside the kitchen door (behind the wire fence, of course) and drank the water that John provided. It was magnificent to be see these beautiful, energetic, and free beings! The sunsets are also amazing!

Garrett and his sister Rhonda were very helpful and great hosts, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay in the tiny house. We fixed our breakfast and sat at the kitchen bar in front of the window and watched the wildlife. So relaxing. It was close to the main attractions. Kristi had a basket fixed for us with brochures of the many places to see. Would come back.

Everything about Scott's slice of heaven is fabulous! Words fail the mission of describing how very perfect it actually is so let me just say, if you are going to that area & do not stay at Bale & Butterfly, we cannot be friends. Location was perfect for our family to visit Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave, and Devil’s Tower. It made the perfect homebase. We were able to catch a movie with our 10 year old at the Elks Theater on a rainy Thursday morning and basically had the whole theater to ourselves. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Laundry was helpful during our stay especially after our hikes. Would recommend this location!

I cannot say enough lovely things about Gale’s cute little farm abnb stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly Flo and Batcat. The little farm cottage was easy to find, with a lifted concrete parking pad. There were crackers left in the mud room for us to say hi to their 3 goats. Cottage itself is spacious. The farm is quiet and peaceful, a nice little staycation. We were served a delicious and warm breakfast, served w fresh fruit, muffins, and cookies. Gale’s hospitality and communication exceeded most abnbs I have stayed at over the years. Highly recommend!

Great Cozy cabin. Kitchen has a nice selection of essentials supplies. May want to bring paper plates/cups if you have kids and don’t want to use glass dishes. Bring your own Hot Tub towels if larger then 5 are staying, if you would like everyone to have their own as they only supply enough for how many it holds. Clubhouse was great addition but the location is down the hill and around the corner, not adjacent/across the street. Be prepared for steep driveway and lots of stairs. Quick drive to town and Terry Peak.

The cabin was very nice! The shower was great! Had a slight issue with the toilet and it was fixed while we were gone. Great service!

Excellent value and totally as described/pictured! Communication was great and the electronic deadbolt worked easily. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. There were a couple nit-picky things that could have been better: Several dishes in the cabinets were clearly not washed, not a light in the place had a dimmer (we ended up unscrewing a bunch of bulbs to compensate), and the steam room in the clubhouse doesn't work (big bummer for me). But overall we had a great time and would recommend!

We had a great stay, the cabin was everything we expected it to be. It was very beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and very clean.

Ryan's place was beautiful, both the suroundings and the house, it was very peaceful and the place was very clean, We would stay again if we are in the area.

We had such a great stay! The space was just right for our family of 8, and we appreciated how easy it was to manage our dogs. We would definitely stay here again. Everything on the property was so clean and well maintained. Thanks, Lee Ann, for being so helpful and welcoming to our family!
