Tigh Eddie

Nestled in a rural peaceful setting with distant sea views. Its a 7 minute drive to Spiddle and Barna Village, where you can enjoy local cafe's bars and good seafood restaurants. It's the perfect spot to relax after a day touring Connemara, The Burren, Aran Islands and Galway City. You will be spoilt for choice with the numerous beautiful hikes.

After a busy day sightseeing, enjoy our recently refurbished (in 2024), one-bedroom apartment on the grounds of a welcoming family home. Located 15 minutes from Galway and 5 minutes from Barna and Moycullen, this countryside retreat features brand new furniture and fittings throughout and sleeps up to 4: - 2 in a beautiful, spacious double bedroom and - 2 on a comfortable sofa bed. Ideal for a relaxing and convenient getaway. *Please note: The apartment is not suitable for children/babies*

Guest Accommodation in Spidéal, No Wifi

This is a wooden chalet to the rear of our property that we use to accommodate family when visiting. The village of Spiddal is a 15 - 20 minute walk away and Galway City is 12miles or 17km away. There is a regular bus service ( the 424) You can catch the bus and get off the bus at the end of the road which is a 5 minute walk from the property but having a car is probably best. It's a great base for exploring Galway and Connemara etc. No WIFI. We are NOT located on a lake (Airbnb's algorithm)

Mountain Mist cottage is a self catering unit situated just 2km from Spiddal Village and 18km from Galway City on the Wild Atlantic Way. Mountain Mist offers magnificent views from its elevated site showing Connemara in its true beauty, from Galway Bay, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands, to the Twelve Bins mountains to the rear of the cottage.The unit itself is at the rear of the hosts own house. Farm land surrounds the cottage,with great fishing and walking routes on your door step.
