Visited from the U.S for our honeymoon and this was the perfect place! Located close to the center of the city, so we were able to walk anywhere we wanted while in Inverness! The Airbnb met every need we had, was cozy, and in a private location which was easy to locate! Parking was easy to find as well. Highly recommend staying there if visiting Inverness!!

Superb, very spacious, thoughtfully and immaculately presented basement flat of family home. Felt private. Super location for walking to local amenities /beach. Mike and Helen have thought through what helps a holiday maker and provided it in the apartment . Communication was v. prompt and helpful. All good!

Location was ideal for exploring the area, lovely hosts who were on hand should we have any queries, flat itself was comfortable & cosy and had everything we needed. I'd go back to this property without hesitation

I’ve used Airbnb over the years and always balance out staying outside of the city center vs staying very close to places I want to go to. Carol’s home, while seemingly not close to the city center actually is - a very easy (and beautiful) 5 minute walk. Check-in was super smooth and while I’ve stayed in clean places this one truly was spotless. Besides being so well situated the place was quiet, comfortable and cozy. I loved having the windows open and listening to the birds. It was also remarkable in how well-equipped it was…it seemed like I had just appeared in someone’s home. There was nothing I had to do without. Water pressure and water temperature were both great (you never know with showers) and having a washing machine was fantastic since I was in Inverness for several days. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and am thrilled I chose well!

Magical, relaxing, calming, surrounded by beauty and nature. We cannot recommend Miep and Derrywood highly enough. Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for the most blissful and memorable stay!!!

Anna's flat was wonderful. It had everything we needed, was really clean and in a great location. It was only a short walk to the centre of the town, but on a quiet street so we all slept really well in the comfy beds. Anna was very quick to reply to messages and made sure we had everything we needed.

Huge and well kitted out. Very comfortable and in a great location for Ben Nevis and the breweries. The washing machine and dryer were useful for damp kit and Penny left plenty of essentials for cooking and cleaning so we felt very at home. Helpful labelling everywhere.

We had a fantastic time staying at Stephen's Place (Sugar Loaf) in Fort William, the house/cottage was excellent, very clean and comfortable and really spacious. The location was excellent for getting to everything that we needed be it the town centre, the loch or getting to Ben Nevis and the other walks nearby. We had a great family holiday staying here and I would highly recommend it to others.

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Great spot

Lovely quiet flat yards away from most of the action, including the bus and train stations. Provided with all the mod cons you would like in home away from home, including a washer/dryer, which is useful if you are packing light. Also the bath was a godsend for achy limbs after a day on the mountains.

We simply loved stayin at Innes place it was simply perfect n peaceful ….everything was almost walk-in distance away spl the castle n river ness …def recommend to stay wit family …

There was something personal about The welcome message I received when I booked Dale and Anthea’s place, and that feeling extended past the check out when I left some clothes at their place. Athena brought them to me at the train station! This shows what kind of experience they want their guests to have. Great location! Gorgeous view. Parking. Comfy beds. So clean. Convenient. Wished we could have stayed one more night! Thank you again Anthea!

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment; it was bigger than it looked in the photos. Robert was there to meet us, show us around and suggest some places we should see. There was a shortcut to the bus stop we wouldn't have found by ourselves and rather than catch the bus to Neptunes Staircase we took Roberts advice and walked along the canal. It was lovely and we saw a lot more by doing it that way. There is a shared laundry with washing powder and a clothes dryer is available to use as well as a clothes airer. The bedroom is big with a large comfortable bed. There is plenty of heating and the whole apartment is very comfortable. The bus is a short (but steep) walk from the apartment and the buses run fairly regularly. I would recommend getting a taxi to the apartment however if you have heavy bags. There is also a railway station close by. We used both the buses and train while we were there and found getting around quite easy. We highly recommend Roberts apartment.
