We ( family of seven) stayed at this place for Easter weekend . The house was homely and spacious. Game room was great. We enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen equipments were good. Our dog enjoyed the house too. The owners were in contact with us constantly. They were very friendly Thank you Crich is a lovely quiet town we enjoyed walking around town and you must see Matlock and its tourists attractions which is amazinggggg!!! It’s so beautiful. I recommend this place and Matlock to everyone Regards Mahtab

We had a great stay at Sam’s place for a friends holiday, the cottage was spacious for 8 of us plus one infant with plenty of parking available. The surroundings are beautiful and there were some lovely walks directly from the cottage. Sam was really responsive to any questions we had. We also organised a grocery food delivery for our arrival which worked really well so would recommend to others too! The hot tub was excellent and the cottage felt very private considering the buildings around it. Would highly recommend so thank you! ☺️

What a thoughtful host! All of the little extras were thought of making this a real home away from home stay. I hope to stay again and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you for making our Easter break to visit family locally extra special.

Lovely few days away as a family with small children with friends. Great place with lovely big garden. Beautiful play park within walking distance. Great facilities.

We had a lovely stay in our cabin! Had a dip in the hot tub the morning that we left and it was a great way to start the day! the hosts are so friendly and have beautiful dogs who came to visit! The amenities were great and it was truly like a home away from home, we did not want to leave. The cabin is closer to other ones than we expected, but it does feel very private and peaceful nonetheless. Cooking outside on the gas BBQ was lovely, there’s even a spot for a frying pan!! We would love to stay again and try a different cabin! Thank you for a lovely few days xx

We came to Grantham / Barkston to attend the FIA Karting Worlds Championships and this home was the perfect base camp for our family. Very close to the track, excellent layout of this new home with a nice private courtyard out back and a detached garage. Great modern kitchen, bathrooms, and super comfortable beds. The service / hospitality was first class and we hope to stay here again when coming back to PFI. Thank you for a wonderful 5 weeks.

James was a very good and responsive host. Communication, directions etc. were spot on! The house was great. There were 6 of us in total - all adults. We did have a problem with a blocked toilet but James had this fixed quickly. There are 3 toilets in total so not a big problem. One star lost on cleanliness rating. On arrival there were crumbs across the dining table and a tea cup stain which we wiped away. Also, could have done with a towel in the downstairs bathroom. We also only had 1 tea towel which was done very quickly. We borrowed from family. Also, a lack of extra pillows meant we had to borrow cushions from the sofas. All very minor problems. I still felt it was value for money and would certainly book again next time we visit family in Nottingham

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.
