Palm Beach ferries is just a 300m walk away into the village. The ferries operate daily and give you the opportunity to explore Pittwater and beyond. Even if you just catch the hourly circular ferry and stay on until back at Palm Beach you will have had a wonderfull experience on Pittwater. You can hop off at any stop and catch the ferry one hour later as it continues its circular journey. Popular stop off is The Basin. The Basin is the campground in the Kurringai National Park. There are bush walks, swimming, electric BBQ's, toilets and showers. You can spend hours at the basin.

catch the ferry over to the basin for the day, but take a picnic lunch as there are no shops. Or you can catch a ferry to Ettalong on the central coast
