You can stroll through the Farmer's Market and find fresh local produce, food, plants, trees and many other items. There are other unique shopping places within walking distance as well.

Awesome southern breakfast. It's also right beside the famers market, which, on weekends, is a fantastic place to buy directly from the farmers.

One of a kind experience right by the centennial campus of NC State. Great Southern food and a great atmosphere, the best part is that it is on the farmers market grounds so you can walk through the market after breakfast/lunch. It is only open early as well so this is not a dinner place.
