This is typical market, great for souvenirs. Open every Sunday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm in Praça General Osório (a couple of blocks from the apt).

Right on your doorstep! Only on Sundays! Great place to see and buy Brazilian art and craft with great prices, to take home a bit of Rio. Try an Acaraje a Bahiana delicacy and have a cocada for dessert, and wash it all down with a Guaraná. street food at the Hippy Fair.
