You can go straight up 24th St to the river/bridge and walk along the trail at any point east-west, following the riverbed. There are burrowing owl tunnels and all kinds of other birds along the path.

This riparian habitat park is a section of the salt river. Strolling along groomed trails you may see great blue herron, beaver, jack rabbits and other critters. 19 miles of hiking/biking trails!
