This is a local historic farm and almshouse complex established in 1852. It offers the opportunity to step back in time to experience rural 19th Century farm life. It's an excellent example of the Victorian Gothic architecture of the period. This is the home of the Maryland Wine Festival as well.
Spring-Fall: Barnyard animals available to see, plus historical house, barn, blacksmith shop. They also have Civil War living history events and the best fireworks display in the area for Independence Day. Winter: Free admission to the grounds January-March, but there is not much to do besides walk around and play on the playground.
