For authentic Malay food with variety: worth the journey out to Sg Penchala. Food is set up buffet styled. You're given a plate with rice, go over to the buffet counter, select what you want and head to payment counter. Sit down, order your drink. Eat up. The chicken or beef rending is tops, outside by the side they grill fish.

Probably the best Malay Nasi Campur restaurant around. Serving an endless variety of dishes, you just pick up a big plate and pile it on and they count it later. Easy to go overboard as there's just too many delicious choices. Extremely packed at lunchtime so go early.
