.Madre, a collaboration from the founders of Liverpool favourites Belzan and Volpi and London’s popular Breddos Tacos. With its own non-traditional, upscaled, ingredient-driven tacos. Madre, meaning mother in Spanish, is a taqueria that is inspired by the food culture of Mexico City, so expect a varied selection of beautifully crafted tacos such as iberico pork al pastor, Jalisco style shrimp and beef short rib birria with black pudding mole, as just an example of the quality of the Madre menu. Albert Dock’s latest addition is a tequila fuelled collaboration from the teams behind London-fave Breddos and Scouser born and bred venues, Belzan and Volpi. Madre is a contemporary taqueria specialising in tasty tacos, craft beers and more margaritas than you can shake a pair of maracas at ! Expect tacos stuffed with Iberico pork al pastor, Jalisco style shrimp and beef short rib birria, as well as show-stopping sharing plates such as pigs head chicharron and butterflied seabass divorciados.
