This mansion is set for a family of historic proportions including a closet filled with dresses from the 1900’s, a kitchen with formally “state-of-the-art” appliances, and a “kid magnet” model railroad. At one time, logging made this area very wealthy, and you can learn a lot of its history at this fine museum and view a lot of equipment used at the time, too. If you have a chance, also take a look at some of the enormous mansions that were built by other logging barons on Broadway Hill in Aberdeen.
