Great way to get in to the Barbican and city avoiding the car. Lovely little trip on a nice day too. Cash only.

Ferry runs to Plymouth Barbican and you can walk to the city centre and it also runs to Royal William Yard. Nice touristy thing to do if you don't fancy taking the car.

Mountbatten was once an RAF base. Now it’s a haven for walkers, sailers and seafarers, there are diving schools and water sports centre and lovely places to eat and drink on the peninsula. The best way to get here is by water taxi from the Barbican

I had my first job here in 1998. It’s still owned by the same people and the food is fabulous and very reasonably priced. The views are great too. I recommend going here by water taxi from the Barbican
