Cool little nature center in Cape Henlopen Park. Free admission. Nice 30-45 minute experience with a small touch tank.

The Seaside Nature Center, in Cape Henlopen State Park, is open daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the day after Labor Day to mid-June; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from mid-June through Labor Day. The Nature Center contains five 1,000-gallon tanks with local fish, a touch tank with marine invertebrates and exhibits that explain the different habitats within the park. Don't forget to take a look at the live Osprey Cam from April through August and shop the Nature Store. This nature center looks unassuming from the outside, but is a treasure on the inside and a great family activity on a rainy day. Kids and adults can learn about the Cape region nature and animals.
