Currently being renovated for Summer 2022, Walton Pier is the second longest in England. Traditional Victorian pier originally built for the steamers that used to carry passengers from Clacton pier along the coast. Now an amusement arcade, bowling alley and fairground rides, great for rainy days. There is a licensed cafe too. Alternatively you can walk along the pier and enjoy the great views of the town or try fishing (check where permits are needed).

Take a ride on the Red Baron, be thrilled on the Waltzer, ride into the sunset on the Gallopers, release that road rage on the Dodgems or strike it lucky in the Tenpin Bowling Centre.

Not only does Walton-on-the-Naze have a fine sandy beach, it is also home to the second longest pier in Great Britain.
