Simply, beautifully still the best grounds to traverse. Once one of the finest gardens in the Caribbean, Dominica Botanical Gardens was the victim of bad timing. In August 1979, the entire island was devastated by Hurricane David and then again as of just recently 38 years later, by Hurricane Maria on September 18 2017.
