Cortona ist ein wunderschoenes Bergdorf! Es gibt viele Veranstaltungen im Sommer, es ist einfach schoen zum Schlendern, hier wurden Szenen von "Unter der Sonne der Toscana" gedreht. Einfach toll!

Certainly Cortona must be visited and famous all over the world! The filming of Under the Tuscan Sun was filmed in Cortona, a dramatic film of the 2003 American romantic comedy written, produced and directed by Audrey Wells and starring Diane Lane.

Cortona, formely part of Etruscan dodecapoli , is located south of the province of Arezzo and south-east of the Tuscany region, on the border with the Umbria region. The most beautiful things to visit are: Piazza della Repubblica with its imposing stairway leading to the Palazzo del capitano del popolo, museum of Accademia Etrusca and of Cortona, Basilica di Santa Margherita and Villa Bramasole (famous for the film "Under the Tuscan Sun").
