A lovely area for a walk. Great views of the surrounding area. Interesting information and sights relating to Central Otago's gold mining heritage. Walks vary from 45 minutes to 2 hours in length. Lovely on a warm day, but be aware that there is very little shade and this area can be very hot. This is also suitable for biking.

Take a walk around the historic sluicings trail, where there were large gold mining operations in the 1860's.

Located directly across the road from The East Wing Cottage. A lovely (and sometimes challenging) walk or bike ride through Bannockburn's historic gold mining area.

A great walk through local history. Has great views from the top. Directly opposite the cottage accommodation.
