An alternative to the Metro, you can use the Metrobus with your Metro card-it works for both. Although 1 peso more expensive (6 pesos a trip), the Metrobus is especially made for pedestrian transportation. All its stations and buses are accessible to wheelchairs, guide dogs, and have special guides for blind canes. It is a good east-west option if stairs are not your thing.
