If you’ve never been to the parrot house you have to give it a try. The atmosphere is one of the best in Roseburg, it is a great place to go for dinner with friends and family but also one of the very few place around for a special night out with your significant other.

Not walkable, but worth visiting. The owner has travelled around the world in search of reclaimed wood. With this wood, she has rebuilt and converted this victorian home into a restaurant. The service could be better, but often grab a glass of wine and stroll the grounds admiring the creativity of her vision. If not too busy, the food is worth it.

This was a vacant mansion ever since we were kids, until someone had a beautiful vision to remodel it into a fine dining restaurant. The food is good, and the ambience is excellent.

If you are looking for a dining experience, the Parrott House is a great spot. They have a bourbon bar, regular bar, wood-fired pizza oven, local goods gift shop, etc. The restaurant is an old Victorian mansion and the grounds are beautiful including their own vineyard. Definitely the place to go when you are feeling fancy!
