Just the drive & views are great, but you can also hike to the top of the continental divide!!! About 15-20 min drive from the cabin.

Hike popular Hoosier Pass - State Highway 9, Alma to Breckenridge, CO Hoosier Pass is a high elevation mountain pass that is part of the Great Continental Divide in Colorado. This three mile loop is great for all ages, and is the easiest way to get great views of the mountain landscape…without having to trek all the way above the tree line to see it.

Good snowshoeing in the winter. We keep six pairs of snowshoes in the shed, feel free to use them.

Great easy access to a hiking or snowshoeing trail on North Side of highway at treeline (about 10,500 ft). Good sledding just a 1/2 mile in. Parking lot with trail-head maps. Great hikes and sledding in winter, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Amazing mtn views 20 min from Stellar Log Cabin
