If you are over the moon about seafood, then you belong at Melbourne Seafood Station, owned by seafood enthusiasts Naomi and Nick Moon. The Moon’s first foray into the seafood restaurant is a modest storefront in Melbourne. Their second location, in front of the Walmart on Palm Bay Road, is jazzier, with colorful pallet board-covered walls, an epoxied concrete floor and vibrant marine paintings such as Christopher Maslow’s “Exploding Mahi.” A side patio allows for enjoying the restaurant’s cornucopia of seafood baskets plein air. The community has received their menu with appetite, so the Moons are on the move toward making Melbourne Seafood Station a household name.
