Good place to rent stand up paddleboards. You can tour the yacht harbor to get your feet wet ;-) before heading out to the Monterey Bay (if you're comfortable!).

SUP Shack Santa Cruz located in the harbor offers stand up paddleboard lessons and rentals as well as kayaks. Easy place to learn then enjoy a fabulous meal at one of the harbor restaurants.
