The name actually says it itself, “Komiteti-Kafe Muzeum” means: a coffee shop and a museum at the same time. The place’s interior design is inspired by the communism era in Albania: the furniture, the walls and even the toilet (not weird at all).

Decorated in Communist paraphernalia and serving the largest and most delicious variet of rakiin town, hosting cultural events and documentary nights, this place is the most fun you will have in a museum. A must-see in Tirana! And, if you happen to be in Korça, you should visit its sister bar called Qoshka, located in the historic Old Bazaar neighborhood.

This cafe-museum is a very unique space in Tirana. As soon as you step inside you will surround yourself with elements from socialist era. It is a gem, quirky, unique, full of vintage furniture.
