The nearest swimming beach to the property. A ten minute walk out toward the castle. Best in the morning and at higher tides. Light shingle and rocks.

A 10 minute walk from Dartmouth Castle. A lovely little beach, great for exploring.

Highly recommend this shingles beach which is right by the centre of Dartmouth. Great view of the river Dart as well.

The nearest dog friendly beach to Dartmouth. Best at low tide. Lots of rock pools to explore.. A mix of sand, shingle and pebbles. You can swim off this beach but the castle beach is better (below castle museum) you will need to be careful of the slippery rocks at either beach..
