A pretty little walk around the lake and beach front. With a couple of cafés and restaurants. A short drive/train ride from the cottage.

The promenade is completely flat and stretches along the length of the Knap pebble beach (not lifguarded). Next to the promenade are the lake gardens which has a couple of cafes (both cafes do great breakfasts and sandwiches, coffee and cakes). The skate park is here also. Parking is free at the moment and there is a toilet block in the car park.
