In under one hour you can be in the Wellington National Park. Camping is also available at Honeymoon Pools. Pack a picnic, your bathers, kayak or canoe or just floaties! a quick day trip from Capel, that can incorporate Gnomesville as well. Very possible to also visit Donnybrook Apple Park if you have kiddies in tow.

Very pretty place for picnic. Nice walk from here to the dam approx 6 kms along edge river stunning.

If you like to take a dip surrounded by nature, you must visit Honeymoon Pools. There are a series of pools before you reach it, which are also worth a stop. This is a beautiful scenic drive all year round. Fantastic place to go in summer, to escape the heat, have a picnic and swim. (River Rd, Worsley). Access road is just before Wellington Dam.
