This little park is still a pretty well kept secret. Sculptures and pieces of arts along little pathways and between trees. Must see!
It's a gorgeous, relaxing outpost right off the ferry that everyone can enjoy. The park hosts events, new curated exhibits and a refreshing place to visit when you need to sit, think and enjoy some good art. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I've been returning ever since. it is only 10 min walking from home.
Located right by the Welling court mural project and Astoria Park, this smaller park has views of manhattan and various installation art pieces.
This little park is still a pretty well kept secret. Sculptures and pieces of arts along little pathways and between trees. Must see! (Check their website to make sure they’re not in between shows...)
A beautiful and ever-changing space on the water, home to new work from some of NYC’s best contemporary sculptors! Make sure to check their program schedule online; in the summer, they offer free yoga, outdoor movies, and more!
Socrates Park is very beautiful to see Manhattan from afar and enjoy the sunset. You can get there by bus or cab, or about a 30 minute walk. I also recommend you take the ferry to Manhattan and enjoy the views!
Changing sculpture exhibitions every 6 months in a waterfront setting with stunning views of Manhattan. Peaceful, too, and a greenmarket on Saturdays (April-October). A really good local coffee roaster (XXX Coffee) sets up shop in farmers market season.
